Packer goes without saying. Lawrence as much as I love the bloke is done.

Brooks I would drop for a week and see how Reynolds and Benji go. Reynolds on the right and Benji can hang on the left where he can be better hidden in defence.

Yep. Brooks is comfortable in the knowledge that he has no real threat coming from underneath to take his spot. He's in cruise control.....never shows any passion, even in interviews he just stared blankly and goes through the motions IMO. He mightn't like doing interviews but it would be nice to see a bit of spark and fire in him occasionally.
Drop him for a week or 2, let him know he can't just coast along and still get picked every week. Benji looked shattered last Tuesday when he was dropped: it means something to him.
Benji at 7, Reynolds at 6 next week would be good to see.

You will see if the coach walks the walk this week or just Talks! This team needs to start winning ..

No one deserves to be dropped for next weeks game, and if all the boys play to the same level again, we Will come away with a big win.

The only bench Marshall will make this week is one that requires assembly from Ikea
I do not see him making the team at all this week

I just watched the replay closely we played hard can’t complain about the performance.
Madge has to look closely at the performances of Brooks, Lawrence, Packer, Seyfarth and Mbye.
In my view they could be dropped but Brooks and Moses May be safe due to a lack of depth.

I wouldn’t have Packer, Lawrence or Seyfarth in this weeks team and Packer will be suspended.
Mbye and Brooks need a rocket.

I think MBye is a massive confidence player, who cant handle the added pressure of goal kicking. I'd give Doueihi the kicking duties, as we know Benji and MBye can't handle it.

Id even think about promoting Twal or Aloiai to captain over MBye.

Does anyone have a breakdown of who’s contact finishes when because let’s be honest here no one is taking any players off our books. It was an improved performance but there any many in our squad who’d make the starting 13 at other clubs.

Madge's contract is also up in 2021, so it's fair to say that at least 6 current contracted players maybe more will not be there next season.
He will need to make the finals otherwise will be under pressure, although i do think he is a better coach than what we have had prior over the past 5 years.

If we played that way against the Titans we would've won that game no doubt.....

Difference this week was that we more than matched them in every way except for discipline, and down the stretch that was what cost us.

There was rumours about Clark that he wanted to quit football and go work somewhere in the family business (something like that). Rumours were that coach convinced him to stay this year, but he may be looking to leave at the end of the year.

But we will definitely have some cap space and money to play with for 2021, even more for 2022. Fingers crossed Madge stays, or we have to start again and we all know how that goes.

Madge will be here and I really do have faith in him changing things around the joint. Who else are we going to sign Bellamy, Trent Robinson? Please, they won't come anywhere near us.

I agree with the posts with the steady as she goes approach. Id get rid of Packer and I'd like to replace Lawry. I prefer Benji over Reynolds but to give him his due Reynolds didnt play badly.

All the criticism of Mybe and a few others doesnt take into consideration the fact that the Raiders defence was awesome (as was ours) and they didnt get our guys many chances.

I don't think Madge will feel any true pressure until the team is absolutely his and Cleary's past mistakes are no longer a topic of discussion. There is still an awful lot of cap space taken up with Reynolds, Mbye, McQueen and Packer. Madge wouldn't have hired one of them in my opinion.

Definitely heading in the right direction, there's no doubt. Changing this losing culture we have is going to be his biggest test.

When was the last time we put in a really tough defensive effort like Saturday night?? Was a while ago I'll wager......

At the start of the year, I was of the opinion that making the top 8 is a bare minimum for this year to be a success. Madge had to lead us to the 8, or he has failed as a coach.

I've since re-evaluated that opinion, as though I'd still like the make the 8, the top 4 even, I don't think we have the cattle. So I won't crucify Madge if we don't make the 8 this year, maybe I'm getting old. It's recruitment that I think will determine his success, and unfortunately that can only be determined in hindsight,

So Madge, drop who you need to, promote who you think is our future.

MBye did not throw anything at them that needed to be defended.

Brooks got no vision. Midfield Bombs, hospital balls to edge forwards. Doesn't serve is outside backs. BJ and Moses get no ball at the right time. Time to blood Billy at 7 and lets see how he goes.
Throw Hugh Grant an open checkbook and build club around him. Bring back Corey on the wing, Turbo Tommy in the centres and flick either one of the centres. Play on, 6 to go.

Corey Thompson gone. https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/06/15/titans-tempt-thompson-from-Tigers-to-take-up-three-year-tenure/

yeah just heard. Sad news. Injustice for our best player over the last years. But what do you do Madge likes 'em big.

Don't think Hugh Grant knows about RL, let alone play it.

I think he would accept the open cheque book though.
