The players all seem to love him. I just can't read him. We often play better when he is on the field yet he always looks half arsed. He must be a smooth talker because he has achieved alot in footy without delivering much.

He’s a myth for sure. I think we looked ok when he was on yesterday, but I think that probably highlighted more than anything that Liddles service isn’t where it needs to be.

And yet many have said all year that Liddle cant play 80 mins but his service and speed at dh is great for the time he is on...Mbye gets knocked and rubbished for being a utility covering a specialist job but yet there are excuses for the specialist that cant play 80mins...

I don’t think Liddles service is good. Its too slow. He tried very hard in defence but he really needs to work on his service over the off-season imo.

His service isn't that bad. It's not great though. He has a lot to work on. I think we need two hookers in the team.

I understand picking Mbye. He provides cover all over the park. You are already paying his cost.

Is cover code for sticking an arm out on Flegler when covering at fullback…

When I played under 9's , because I was such a skinny little fella I'd often pretend to slip or be wrong footed when a big kid ran at me.
Mbye's still doing it.

I think he's the weak link in the spine. I think Laurie, AD, Brooks are going well but we would benefit from someone with better service. I'd be carrying Simpkin at 14.

He is a "Jack of all trades master of none",the problem is he is getting paid like a "Master of all trades".
No NRL club would want him even the diabolical dogs wouldnt take him because they had him before we did and know how poor he is.Hmmm maybe the Wallabies would be interested his style of missing tackles would not be noticed in a sport where nobody can tackle

Send Ivan an email...he bought him and paid him the huge salary...Moses is in the stage of his career where he is a utility player,he does his job when Madge puts him on the bench to cover many positions at any given time...the hate shouldnt be on Mbye,he has done good things for us according to his coach....its the ones responsible for recruiting him at the time are to blame..WTs have paid big money for duds over the years,eg Blair, complete waste, however Mbye can be useful in different positions when needed,Blair couldnt...Its the money that MM is on is why people hate him...thats not his fault...

And falling over on a fast dry surface because he's also an actor.

If he was on 300k i would agree with you in regards to his utility value, but i find myself recoiling in horror in that he was given a 4 year contract on top dollars.Undoubtedly Ivan was totally at fault in pushing for this and he certainly fooled me while he was here.

Yet AD,Laurie and co have been guilty of it but get passes,Mbye was very good in defense on many occasions earlier this season but now seems to be the target once again because of your dislike of him,and Madge said he did well yesterday when coming on...maybe you should be involved with WTs recruitment instead of the forum....

You are entitled to your opinion TT and I respect that.. as am I … we will have to agree to disagree on Mbye..

In all honesty GEO,Mbye is only one of many recruitment mistakes this club has made over the years...the dislike for him is understandable from some, yet others can see why Madge doesnt drop him.and it isnt only his pay cheque..

People may say he played good on the weekend, but I feel like his service was slow - top teams would easily smother him/us with their quick line defence.

Also - anytime I look at him, I just think he never wanted to come to the Wests Tigers - just the effort and energy from him has it written all over him.

Can anyone give me one amazing game he played for us throughout his career with us? I really cant - Not sure if its me being abit pedantic on him, but I have never seen anything good from him - except for him talking to the camera.

I agree

His service was slow , he didnt do anything that Simpkin could not have done

I would rather have the young bloke come on in 17 then have Mybe in the team. As has be spoken before he offers very little and that was on show yesterday ( just another plodder some might say )

What happened to all the talk about Mbye having a few suiters for next year??
Even Mbye himself said he has options but didn't want to leave the team short handed this year.
Clearly that's why we continue to play him hoping he has a great few games and someone picks him up.

It was just posted that St George were after him but it comes down to money.

Also highlighted to me the work Liddle does in the middle in defence and how much better he is than Mbye and Simpkins. Simpkins can improve as he is a kid finding his feet against men.

Liddle can't pass or attack let's not forget last week game so bad

For use to move him on, we would have to pay a fair portion of his contract. With his current contract of $815K and playing level, I'd say we'd have to kick in $700 for another club to take an interest. The best thing we could do is put in reggies and run a Liddle/Simpkins combo, better attacking and defensive options across the park.
From what Harry said about Mbye, he is great with the young blokes and a positive influence.
