Story on Ch9 by Emma Lawrence. Mbye is an articulate man and spoke well of the WTs. Clearly a move is on.

Yeah I reckon he'll line up something for next season. With Packer off the books and more than likely BJ, we'll be in a very good position to attract a marquee player.

A genuine marquee player. Not one that anoints himself

He should really be under fire for making stuff up. This is on top of bagging WT for paying 600k for BJ, even Hooper said that was rubbish.

He’s just a low human being.

Get him to join the forum. 99% of the Brooks' thread is fiction.?

Anything to take the scent off how pathetic his beloved sharks are.

Can't see Naden getting into the riff side anytime soon. He'd be a good replacement.

Ivan won't let him go without compensation. They've played hardball this year

Either way, he’s of contract for next year! So we can still get him for next year. Maybe we can loan them cini or Hoffman for the year. Provided we aren’t resigning them and Ivan really doesn’t want to use Nader.

Straight swap for Milf

Im interested in the logic behind this or is it a gee up?

Logic? Here’s some. There’s a theory that if Milf was on a lower contract then he would play like a superstar.

Really ? So it’s a psychological issue with him ? I don’t buy it . I think he saw himself as a 6 , he was a fullback , got fat after his awesome season, stopped working on his craft , and now the rest of the NRL went past him. He’s been playing catch up ever since . Where does he fit in ? Laurie is better, AD is the perfect body shape for a modern day 6 , and Brooks , despite what you think , is better than him. . So what , play him in the Black and white jersey , until we need him ? I can see him wearing a Manly jersey , or staying put at the broncos . Or he will be playing in Huddersfield this time next year .

Im not sold on Naden, does he make us better or are we being impatient again.

I just put that up as an example of the crazy logic being pedalled. ? this nonsense that a player will perform better if he’s paid less is reverse Pygmalion, could only happen in an environment void of answers.
I rate Brooks in the top 6 nrl 7s. Show me where I’ve stated differently and then you can start telling me what I think. ?

Moses does see what's around the corner ,by round 6 barring injury subs he will be playing out of Lidcombe oval . He needs to get interested parties lined up soon as possible .He is a reliable player Imo nothing special you never notice him on field no stand out, he got lucky and won the lottery and good luck to him . I see him him gone before the end of the season there are some very desperate clubs around at the moment with some very average players in key positions , I would imagine he will accept a big hair cut on money to get a long term deal elsewhere.

Simply seems to me that the club are trying to get value for money. He's not on much and plays in a position of need. He doesn't make us worse.

Brooks will soon be our highest player and won't be on crazy money. Racking up cheapies like Naden are a risk but won't lock up our cap. Sooner or later we'll either be able to spend all that saved money on a star or comfortably upgrade our own talent.

Really depends how much of his salary we can right off or someone is prepared to pay

If we are having to write off 500 k ...you'd keep him ...he can fill a lot of gaps in my opinion and does a decent job

Yes, he would be better value than BJ. He would improve us. I don't like him, I think he's a knucklehead on and off the field but he's young and has time to turn his life around.

I think he walks into our team. You don't agree?
