Can't see Naden getting into the riff side anytime soon. He'd be a good replacement.

Im not sold on Naden, does he make us better or are we being impatient again.

I think he walks into our team. You don't agree?

Starting winger for sure

He probably does Gal,but I think he looks good in a well organised team..he may find it tougher to excel in our team when we are just getting the team to gel and the young ones NRL experience...he appears to be a talent, but what effect would his off field behaviour have on our guys, knowing that he had something to do with drugs...

I'm just judging his onfield performances. The club would need to assess his lifestyle issues but he would fit in with our indigenous program.

I’m not going to pass judgment on a players off field behaviour but..I wonder what happens when you get increased numbers of drug and alcohol dependent members of a group? Do they keep each other honest? Or does it go south? What happens?

Moses showing the quality that got him the captains job at the club. He was unable to lead by example on the field and has slowly slid down the rankings to find himself struggling to make the 17 in a team trying hard to lift out of mediocrity. He sees the writing on the wall for him at WTs and as always is handling himself with class and the club with respect. May not have been the best buy as a player but certainly one of our best buys as a role model off the field.

Moses does see what's around the corner ,by round 6 barring injury subs he will be playing out of Lidcombe oval . He needs to get interested parties lined up soon as possible .He is a reliable player Imo nothing special you never notice him on field no stand out, he got lucky and won the lottery and good luck to him . I see him him gone before the end of the season there are some very desperate clubs around at the moment with some very average players in key positions , I would imagine he will accept a big hair cut on money to get a long term deal elsewhere.

I would be surprised if his manager has not been scouting for offers previous to this. He has been on the market for quite a while, and i suspect he knows where he's going.

I’d be looking to swap for DCE

What do you reckon he's worth? Money wise

The team he managers has scored 34 points in 4 games and conceded 156..how much is that worth..?

I think he is on around about $800 to $900,000, and would be worth about $400 to $500,000. This is just a guess, so Tigers would have to weigh in for the balance.

If Moses asked for a release for 2022 surly we don’t have to pay a cent towards his new contract with another club because he asked for a release

Not Mbye's fault that Ivan Cleary panicked and paid Super overs.

I really respect Moses Mbye for his honesty and I really am hopeful that he and the club will find a mutually beneficial outcome.

I'd respect him even more if he gave half the dough back.

Would you ?
Not a chance !

Not a chance he would give the money back, or that I would respect him?

This is why Mbye was named captain. That is one smooth, political talker.

I do wish him all the best though. Best outcome for all involved and no doubt he's got plenty of good games left in him.

I'd say he has heaps of good games left in him - didn't use any of them whilst with us.

I think we would be silly to let him go this season as he may well provide back up value in a few positions in the case of injury, unless of course we were offered enough incentive - such as paying less of his salary next season or a player we could use. The fact that he and the club have approached it early and in this way has opened up the opportunity for a mutually beneficial deal to be made. Good roster management in my book!

It's no coincidence this has come up the same time Hastings talk has ramped up again.
Believe there is a club who reached out to Mbye's management which prompted this request, him leaving this yea isn't out of the realms of possibility.

Any chance of Hastings for this year?

Don't rate him - plodder.

NMN!!!!!

I’m saying YOU wouldn’t give the money back if YOU were him !

You’re sounding like a corrupt politician now ?
