wonder why chee kam never gets test run? if hes no good for so long dish him off. bring some one else in.

Thats always been our problem, we hold on to rubbish.

As Happy said the other day, your two second rowers and two centre’s are the key to your defensive game and ours would be ranked last by a mile in the NRL. Iam not sure all the coaching in the world is going to turn things around.

Recruitment is the answer, but we are at the bottom of the NRL in that department to

A miracle we are in 12th really .....

To be fair last year before injury he was playing well at center. Against the equal/lower teams over coming weeks he probably could add value. But geez if he does it will really show how bad we are going recruiting wise. As no point sending him to another club if we can’t use his money on players to come in. Might as well keep him.

Another example of Maguire digging his own grave. Constant selection of this cap thief and now likely to hold onto him until his contract runs. Shambles.

He is a good defensive centre but he offers nothing with the ball in hand. Our centres are so bad it's a good option.

More the fact our centre / 2RW combinations are defensive nightmares, Mbye does a little bit to improve that, as long as his tackles stick. Silver lining here is that maybe Simpkin gets a gig in the 14...

Where on earth will the dragons use him? Surely not in the starting 13...

They said a definate 14 utility role,as they have some youth coming through ...

The 14 is also a good spot for him here, IMO. We get rid of him, who fills his role?

Simpkin. We need a second hooker on the bench.

Mbye is not fulfilling his value here. If someone is going to take him on at 50% of his value that's better than nothing. Front load the sum of his contract next year and have a clean slate.

simpkin on bench if we get an injury
Nofo or someone could drop to fullback and Laurie to 6 or something

Rumour going around Mbye is going to be named Centre this week - Looks like he is staying

If the rumour is true I'm for it. Talau and Pauga were deadset awful and Maguire needs to win games like the one we have this weekend. I'll trust Mbye over either of them any day as he can catch, pass and tackle better than both of those blokes and those three skills are kinda important in rugba league.

I'd even consider playing him at 6 and AD in the centres. I want Mbye gone and he is a dud buy but to me he is picked every week when we have the 2 centres we currently have.

I think he is ,he did well when he was our option at centre and for all the haters he does his best when shuffled all over the place...I dont ever remember him missing 14 tackles or having as many errors as TT..if he does his job then most of us should be happy...our depth is very inexperience or not good enough for this level yet...Lukes game went to another level when Mbye was a halves partner...I will give him the benefit of getting over an injury and showing us why he was an origin selection...just my opinion...

I think this Luke played better with Mbye at 6 is a bit hype.

Probably had no choice but to step it up cos his halves partner is so bad.

Mbye played OK, decent passing in those 2 games.

We've surely established now his best position is 14, utility/ injury cover but in the perfect world he's on another team.

We're all real hopeful and whatnot but Mbye is a massive over paid disappointment.

He can play anywhere but isn't that good anywhere.

Limited options eh.

Play him on the wing so he can “catch and pass” to the empty stand….. Mbye never runs the ball so the wing would really test him and apparently he is requiring a fresh challenge and a change of scenery and also a new environment, and he has 800000 buckaroos to spend on the search! 😅😂
