also on foxs sports channel it was reported we have tabled a offer for Greg eastwood , and we have offered packer a 4 year deal for $700,000 a year.

Eastwood and Packer, yes please!

The Bulldogs forum is gonna make fun of us if we sign Eastwood.

Never mind the bulldogs, Ill make fun of us if we sign Eastwood

If Moses goes someone will have to come in. Appears to be Tui.

On Packer $700K seems a bit much but we desperately need props and personally I would prefer we spent overs on a prop over a fullback, you can't win games consistently with the forwards getting on top.

Eastwood, not too keen but it may explain the grubber the other week

the amount of money been put out does not worry me at all, I believe in IVAN and he will do the right thing to get the right team together under the cap. I am more worried about getting 2-3 hard nosed props and a hard running backrower, and packer and eastwood tick that box. for to long our pack has been full of small light framed players lets get the size in so the backs who are now starting to look good can do there thing.

Where'd this eastwood talk come from? Please don't let him kick if he's going to come to wt, prefer he didn't come but I'm not the one making decisions 😂

I would much rather Adam Elliot than Eastwood…..the blokes struggles to play anything longer than 15-20min in 1 spell.....very average player

I already asked the Bulldogs forum if we could have Adam Elliot and they said no.

We are just over 6 months in the NRL year, so Moses contract still owing would be a smidge under $300,000, however the Eels also need to have that $300,000 available in their cap to take him, not sure they would have that much available without releasing someone.

Can we stop signing Bulldog rejects now?

Reynolds, Thompson, Eastwood…enough

Tigers Dogs … Much like the Tiger Sharks 😐

I reckon we'll have more money than we can actually spend based on players available so if we have to pay overs of 150k out of a $9M cap for a hard nosed prop like Packer I can live with that.

^yeah need to release Moses to pick up Lolohea. Otherwise we'd be over the cap

How do you figure that?

We release MM who is on reportedly $650k and pick up a player who is on $300k. If my math is correct (it usually is) that leaves us with $350k to spare. Not to mention the money we are saving from sacking Simona i'd be surprised if we couldn't fit at least 1 more player this year.

Half of the NRL year is over i think it starts around November. So we have paid half of moses salary already and probably owe him $300k. It probably cost us $300k for this year to get lolohea to agree to sign with us

You are right. NRL contracts run from November to October. It's pretty simple though eels just pick up the rest of Moses contract and tigers pick up the rest of lolo contract for remainder of 2017\. Assuming teams have the space how ever tigers aren't just gonna give Moses up within out financial or player compensation. Tbh tigers could pick up lolo without giving Moses up

Ali's Post

BREAKING NEWS!!
Channel 9 is reporting that Mitchell Moses will join the Parramatta Eels THIS WEEK and he should be named in their teams list tomorrow.
This means Tui Lolohea will join the Wests Tigers EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!!

Good. Sick of that little tosser pretending to be a footballer. He loses far more games for us than he wins.

He's not a very good player anymore. So, unless he has a major career resurgence under Cleary, I don't really want to sign him. I know we're a little short on quality and experience in the forwards but, surely there are better options.
