Moses said he was “loving” playing under Taylor

I'd been told by a very reliable source that Moses had agreed with the roosters in the pre season of 2016\. I don't know what changed his mind. Phil goulds infamous tweet seemed to support this.

I understand players don't want to discuss negotiations with the media, and I don't think they should have too, however I hate the line **<big>'I'll leave that to my manager.'</big>** What absolute crap. So are we expected to believe in 3 months time your manager comes to you and says 'so Mitch I haven't spoken to you for 3 months but good news, I've signed you up to play for the dogs for the next 4 years. Do you want to know how much you're getting?'

Mitch used that line time and time again last year…..I wouldn't read too much into it

i think he just means that he will play/train for footy. his manager will negotiate and draft up everything for him and then table him the options that he has nice and simply. e.g. dogs are offerings this for x years, tigers this etc. then mitch can make up his mind, or for example take the dogs contract to the tigers and try to get them to match the dogs

that's a lot easier than him getting new information and changing contracts every week from multiple clubs for months on end.

Leaving it all to his manager is much better than doing a Ben Teo and taking it upon himself to email rival clubs offering his services for the right price, while dogging it on a the field at the same time.

We all know that Moses hates Jason Taylor

Every member of the squad hates him

Jason Taylor's shadow hates Jason Taylor

I always like hearing players make positive comments on their current coaches. :unamused:

If we have a good year it will push their price up. If we have a bad year we risk losing the likes of Moses and teddy. If (touch wood) they sign elsewhere we will read Siro like comments from them.

The only real coach player love is Darius and Bennett - the rest are all faking it for the cameras.

Finally we hear the truth!!

How do WE know this is the truth….is Happy right in the mix at the club or are you ASSUMING because its what you want to hear...
I can't tell if the players dislike Taylor or not I'm not privy to being in the team or club day after day, however when I spoke to Woodsy at the members night last year at Campbo,he said that there isn't any major problems with JT and the players are starting to understand his coaching style...JT is the coach, the players get paid to play,if people want to make it a personal hatred toward the coach on an assumption so be it....he is still the boss and has the backing of the board.....

It worries me players having ongoing contract negotiations during the season. Maybe my memory is horrible but I seem to recall much better form displayed by Moses last year once he had committed to taking up the option for this year.

I think this time around it is in their interest to hit the ground running. A big start to the year will certainly add dollars to their bottom line

Apparently (according to a "source") his own mother wants to punch him in the face and his dog treats him with total disrespect.

Yeah possibly

HIS ONLY RISK IS INJURY - HIS MARKET VALUE IS PRETTY HIGH AT PRESENT SO I THINK ITS PRETTY RISKY LEAVING IT TOO MUCH LONGER, IN THE EVENT OF INJURY WOULD BRING THE MARKET PRICE DOWN

I'm a little confused. Is the report saying he signed with the Chooks this pre season 2016-2017 or the previous year.
I recall Gould saying he had signed but I thought that was during the 2016 season, not the 2015-2016 pre-season.

Also does anyone else feel from Moses's comments in just about every article this past year that he believes playing Origin is a forgone conclusion and just a mater of when. If so, i think he is way ahead of himself. I think there is almost no chance of him playing this year. Nathan Cleary is already ahead of him, let alone the established halves in the NRL so even in years to come he will have stiff competition. He's always been confident in himself but I hope he's not thinking he's already in that class of players.

Isaac Moses manages Woods, Tedesco, Brooks and Mitch Moses.

The Tigers should just tell him we have $3-million to sign your 4 players so you divide it up between them and work out who gets how much.

Otherwise he will just play them off against each other.

If he can't get 4 done give him a reduced figure for 3 of them etc.

I am of the same opinion he is getting far ahead of himself, needs to stop massaging his ego a little. He is potentialy a great player but he is not alone in that respect

We aren't going to keep all 4 players. That's a fact.

If they have any sense they would be preparing to sacrifice one of them if need be. Maybe this Lemuelu kid could be groomed to partner Moses in 2018.

Moses will go before Brooks…

Not sure why it's a fact all 5 and I include the forgotten Bro Nofoaluma can't be kept...
