The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Mosese Suli have today agreed to part company.

Both parties sat down this week and decided that it was in the best interests of the club and the individual if they parted ways.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill said the time was right for the decision to be made: "Right from the start the Bulldogs were committed to giving Mosese every opportunity to fulfill his potential and become part of the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, Mosese has not been able to adapt to the high standards that Dean and the coaching staff have asked from all players and as such we think that it is in the best interests of both parties if we part ways. This is not the end for Mosese as a footballer and if he can regain the desire and drive to reach the standards required then I believe that he can still be successful. The club wishes him all the best going forward."

Mosese agreed that the time was right for a change: "I think that it is right for me and the Bulldogs that I take some time away from the game to re-assess what the future holds for me. I want to thank the Bulldogs for the opportunity that they have given me and I leave the club with no hard feelings whatsoever."

Go figure…Shortest stint that I have ever heard of.

The bloke clearly has some big problems.

Let's not forget that he's only barely an adult in a high pressure environment.

I really hope he's getting some good well being type support. Our game has failed in this area all too often.

Yes exactly this

Hows that stable club thing going there Woodsy?

Makes me angry to think that poor Simon Dwyer had his career ended by circumstances totally out of his control. He could have been anything. Then you have clowns like this who throw it all away because he's too lazy to get out of bed in the morning.

Future trivia question. I feel sorry for the remainder of his family that he had a great opportunity to provide for

Just sacked by the Dogs. Unfortunate how low he has reached really, massive spiral. He had the potential to be great, now he's ruined his career. Real damn shame

In other news, Mitchell "The King" Moses has declared himself "ready" for State of Origin! Yipeee! Our lord and saviour has arrived

Maggot

Our lord and saviour, are you a Queenslander looking to extend the dynasty following the mass retirements?

I'm all for having a giggle at the turmoil at the Bulldogs given Woodsy's parting shot, but this isn't of their doing. They did what many other clubs do, offer a change of scenery for a troubled player which often works out.

Suli is an out and out goose, whom has pissed away an opportunity (two, really,) that many would give everything for. That's on him, not the Dogs, or the Tigers.

Possibly the dumbest line from a press release in NRL history. Time for a change? He only just got there!

He is 19 for god sake! Some of you clearly have forgotten what thats like, and or dont live with any. Generally nineteen year olds think they know it all and it looks like things have come to Moses pretty easy so far. Even with no contract he still has probably got a sight more than all his buddies.
Clearly he is not up for the constraints of being a professional and doesnt appreciate
the rewards. He has got time to figure it out hope for his sake at some point he does.

Didn't even get to lace a boot on in anger for the Dogs…I wonder if the kid hasn't got some type of mental health problem bubbling away in the background that he is unaware of. To go off the rails like this, and to throw away such a lucrative contract at a young age...I don't know. The Tigers definitely made the right call, but I reckon the kid needs help. The way he's going, he'll probably end up being arrested.
