Moses Suli

On the Fox Sports casualty ward, he’s listed as being indefinite with a back injury. Must be all that weight he’s carrying.

He probably strained it trying to get a girdle on.

Hmm, you'd like to think as a new employee so to speak that you would be looking to set a good example for the new boss, but in Suli's case you have to wonder what's going through the bloke's head to behave this way.

Exactly what I thought. I could have more understanding if over the course of a season or more old habit crept back in, old failures or old demons, but disciplinary action within the first two weeks after having been released on disciplinary reasons… just terrible.

I mean this kid might have a little bit of money right now after a decent first season's earnings, but the whole thing could be over in a few months, and he reverts to being a Joe Nobody. There are players who would kill for this kind of opportunity.

And if you are a flog off the field, almost certainly you are also a flog on the field.

Look, I am glad we punted him.
But he got injured. His attitude was Ok (or maybe ignored) till he got injured.
Clearly our Cleary coaching staff went, "he ain't improving under us, punt him somewhere else".

Being injured is a big thing, there is a body shock to it. The true sportsman, the true Athletes know it's a setback and then do rehab painfully and daily till they come back. They are not moving,

I would like to know if his attitude was crap at the start or if it tanked with the injury. If later then I think a good sports shrink may have a better result.

Either way the coaching staff are making the right decision. We can't fix him or bring out his best…. Swap him.

Has anyone seen the posts from Suli on page 1 or 2 of the thread about him getting sent home from training on The Kennel website? Astonishing. He will be fortunate not to be out of the NRL altogether by season's end IMO. Great move by WT getting the goose out of our club.

we can get him back on minimum contract with the dogs covering his salary and send him to Ron Massey until he works out which side his bread is buttered on

It was a video of him chuffing away on some sort of pipe. Looked to be off his head. Not the smartest bloke around I would hazard a guess, the Dogs heirachy would have no doubt seen it and given him an ultimatum.

Wouldnt matter if we did get him for free, the concept of learning your lesson seems to be beyond young Suli's comprehension. Would be a total waste of time on our clubs' part.

The guy has a brain about the size of a pea. He still hasn't learnt to use all his pea size brain and wants to be a gangster not a NRL player.

Just sacked by the Dogs. Unfortunate how low he has reached really, massive spiral. He had the potential to be great, now he's ruined his career. Real damn shame

In other news, Mitchell "The King" Moses has declared himself "ready" for State of Origin! Yipeee! Our lord and saviour has arrived

It was a hookah pipe. He was smoking vaporized and flavoured tobacco.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Mosese Suli have today agreed to part company.

Both parties sat down this week and decided that it was in the best interests of the club and the individual if they parted ways.

Bulldogs Chief Executive Andrew Hill said the time was right for the decision to be made: "Right from the start the Bulldogs were committed to giving Mosese every opportunity to fulfill his potential and become part of the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, Mosese has not been able to adapt to the high standards that Dean and the coaching staff have asked from all players and as such we think that it is in the best interests of both parties if we part ways. This is not the end for Mosese as a footballer and if he can regain the desire and drive to reach the standards required then I believe that he can still be successful. The club wishes him all the best going forward."

Mosese agreed that the time was right for a change: "I think that it is right for me and the Bulldogs that I take some time away from the game to re-assess what the future holds for me. I want to thank the Bulldogs for the opportunity that they have given me and I leave the club with no hard feelings whatsoever."
