Having lost just three of their last 10 games, Wests Tigers five-eighth Mitchell Moses says there's a new-found confidence in the team that they can keep their run of form going in the back half of 2016 and achieve the Club's first finals finish since 2011.

Moses, who starred in the Club's last-start win over the St. George-Illawarra Dragons, said that a number of key results in the State of Origin period has given the team plenty of confidence in their ability — confidence which is riding high in the team at the moment.

**"There's a new vibe around the team in the past couple of weeks," he said.\
\
"Everyone is really working off each other.**

"There's a new-found confidence around the Club that we can actually push to the semis, and we're a shot to make the semis this year. I think in that Origin period we were missing some key players and we knew we had to stand up, and we got a few wins in there which helped."

"I've been working hard on my game at training too, and it's always pleasing when the things you work on at training come off in a game. My attitude has changed a little bit too, I guess, in terms of taking things for granted, and I've been training hard week in and week out."

Moses only trained for part of the session on Wednesday ahead of Saturday's big game against the Parramatta Eels, but revealed it was only a precautionary omission.

"Everything is fine," Moses said.

"My workload and kilometres were just really high after Saturday's game, so the medical staff have just been managing me and and a precautionary thing more than anything."

Had to kaugh at hooper. Asking Moses about the junior grand final that he, nofo and brooks played in. Only for Moses to correct him that he didn't actually play in that game. Lol
He's not even close to being a journalist.

I hope he keeps improving on the field. Last week he looked like he was a real chance of turning into a quality rep half.

There is a long way to go but the signs are good.

Hmm…certainly improving as a player but not convinced yet he is a future captain.

There is something about him whether it be his brashness or cockiness that makes me feel he is "off-field" incident waiting to happen.

His form lately has been fantastic. Especially against the dragons. I wonder if JTs cohesion theory has merit? Anyway, he's going to have to get even better if we're to get into the finals this season. On a side note, Brooks is looking better too.

Maybe the coach knows more about the team then the fans

Puts his heart and soul into defense.

Really growing up

The most important thing with Moses's defence now is he keeps his feet these days , keeps himself as an active defender still , very important in the modern game

I will only be convinced when we pass over the easy peasy teams and are playing the leaders at full strength. We are now in a late Indian Summer phrase and soon we will be humming that song There aren't no sunshine anymore https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIdIqbv7SPo

Is that a whiff of team spirit? Cohesion! I like that word.
How long has this forum been calling for leadership on the field? Great to see one of the future leaders talking up team confidence.

Its not Ain't no sunshine anymore, its Ain't no sunshine when she's gone. I suppose you could change she's to he's. Some here seem to have an interesting opinion about where the sun shines from!

I think the team sounds like they are really pulling together and Woods to me is showing great leadership. I think he has supported Robbie but still said to the guys we need to stick together on the field and win games. Robbie being there or not being there does not impact the team playing to the best of their ability.
