For me 2004 round 26 v the knights. A group of us drove up the freeway all excited that a win would put us in the 8 for the first time ever. Bronson Harrison scored early and all is tigers were excited before the knights ran out winners. The drive back was sober as we listened to around the grounds hoping for results to fall our way the rabbits had to beat the raiders for us to get in and another result had to go out way. The raiders smashed them by 50ish. That trip was memorable and we talk about that loss every now and again. Made the run in 05 really sweet

I thought there was another year post 2005 when the Knights knocked up out of finals contention, right?

07 or 08 maybe?

Did happen another year. One of those two at ANZ I think. Our winger young fellow Jacobs??? Scored 1 near the end to give us hope and we ended up losing but I am sure there was that game in 04\. I remember running into Butterfiels on the toilets beforehand because it was old boys day and he was giving it to me a bit and enjoying a bit for banter back.

Not reading this thread of heartache.
However…. the loss to the roosters where heino messee up the scrum and lost us the game.
Ruining our finals chances.

32-31 against Penrith at Penrith Park. My first real heartbreaking loss that I witnessed as a spectator.

Especially after the scintillating 1st half we had in that game. It was like watching a slow-motion car crash in the 2nd half.
