Most painful losses that you can remember

We weren't really expected to beat the Bulldogs in 88 but it still made me cry.
We were however favorites the next year and that just broke my heart.
It seems for me that we are always disappointed but it will never stop me supporting the team I love. WT forever!

Dragons semi in 2010 stung, Warriors semi last year hurt more coz I knew we had missed a golden opportunity. Last Sunday was the worst I've felt in a regular season loss. Gut wrenching.

The 2009 loss against the bunnies when Merritt fluked a fg from the sideline was just as bad
There was the 2002 "baby broncos" debacle. Watching it was more painful than the result though.
The other one was in 1997 when the maggies lost against the Crushers (!?!) in the last game to miss the semis. That game was pretty much the beginning of the end

Yeah remember the Magpies v Crushers game also It was the Crushers last ever game

Happy was there and got told off by Clinton Schifcofske 's parents for calling him a druggie Does anyone remember was infamous event also happened that day ????

1989 was the most painful from a Tigers perspective for memory.

2010 vs St George in the GF Qualifier = Robbed by Hayne & Archer.

and

I always remember the game against Parramatta in 2009 where we lost Tuiaki & the Penalty Try ending our chances of making the finals that year…

Nah we got beaten by 20+ and we decided to beat the rush Clinton's parents and many other Crushers fans gave it to me

- 89 GF, but I was very young

- those flukey Dragons wins at Leichhard on/after the siren. I seem to remember more than one?

- The Souths game at Leichhardt when we were on a roll, it was a nice sunny day, everything was in our favour but they came out and smashed us. 06? 07?

- Tuiaki's last game, losing to Parra and missing the finals

- The Newy game last round where we collapsed and missed the finals. I stormed out of a party with work mates and said goodbye to nobody :laughing: what a sook

the 2010 semi against the Roosters and their super secret scrum move (hopefully Braith can teach us)

- Merritt kicking that angled field goal at the SCG

- Last weekend Inglis repeating the dose

The 2010 semi final against the Roosters. I've played in 3 losing Grand Final teams in a row and I've never felt as munted as what I did after that Roosters final. I felt horrible for days.
 
2011 loss to Warriors. Waiting for that video ref call seemed to take an eternity. Sitting there waiting, thinking how our entire season hinges on this call. Shattering. The young bloke sobbed all the way out of the stadium. It was like leaving a funeral as we exited. Horrible.
 
Memories, light the corners of my mind
Misty watercolor memories of the way we were.

Reading this thread brings back so many bad memories. I also remember being so angry that we never could beat the Cowboys in the early years when they were always down the bottom of the table. Thank goodness for 2005!!!
