Most underrated player in our team?

Haven't posted here in a while, off-season really is boring. But I am really pumped up now. Who do you think is the most underrated player in our team?

My choice would be **Blake Ayshford**, with **Mitch Brown** close behind. Ayshford is great in attack, he can hit a hole and he can make an offload. His defense isn't perfect, but it will improve. He is young and he is already an above-average center.
Mitch Brown was good for us at fullback last season, much better than McKinnon IMO. I would prefer him at FB for this week. He is safe under the high ball (he took some nice catches) and he isn't too bad on attack. Not a star, but a good role player.

Dunno about under rated, but Payten is very misunderstood…..he is a distributing, 2nd phase prop, not a metre eater

I agree with you 100%. But we all rate him highly and often refer to the Tigers winning percentage with and without him. So I wouldn't classify him as underrated.

I would have to say Ayshford. I see a lot of comments from opposing fans on other forums and some media commentators who say he is a weakness in the side. I just don't see it. He always causes problems with ball in hand and marks his many pretty tight most of the time.

Yep. He was my vote too. I think he will break out this year.

mitch brown. solid quality player on the up. still cant believe he didnt make the side this week.

In the 1st greade squad…. at this point in time I would say Ayshford. As the season goes on I would expect a forward to take over....if all is going well.

I don't know, I would say Gibbs or Ayshford.

I think you will find most on this forum rate Brown very well. Gibbs' role in the side is very much understated. His work off the ball is phenomenal and can also hit it up quite well (albeit not as well as the likes of Fifita and Galloway.)

Our defensive resolve can be credited to Fults and Gibbs.

I think Bryce Gibbs provides us with the things that most props cannot do. He isn't a 10 meter a hit-up prop, but that doesn't mean he can't be good. So I agree that he is up there.

Gibbs for mine is under-rated, is the best defensive prop in the game and I would say the fittest as well.

Fulton for mine is under-rated by non Tigers supporters. He is a great defender and is more than handy in attack as well.

Gibbs for sure. Top class defence. Mongrel. Agression. Metre Eater. Wasn't so smart before but now he can control his agression and more importantly can make it through 80 minutes. Best prop in the NRL IMO.

Liam Fulton must have a 95% tackle completion rate works hard in attack Especially as decoy runner Reminds me of Bradley Clyde without the size of Clyde Most underrated player

fulton and ayshford are under rated by some people on this forum

even fifita, lui and moltzen are under rated by some

I defo gotta say GEOFF DANIELA also, how he doesn't get a crack that often is beyond me.
