finally got around to watching the new Karatee Kid….and really enjoyed it. Couple of cringey moments in it but to be fair the original probably had more.
Good action, same story, good performance by young Smith.

Who else is in it mate…I mean who is Mr Miyagi..wax on wax off is cinamatic legend....

Willow the Blind Side was good but try watching it 100 times teaching kids to do a film study..Hope for Glory Strive for Honour.....Into the valley of death rode the 600.... :smiling_imp:

Jackie Chan…he supplies most of the cheese :laughing: The bad kids look like they could actually kick your arse in this one too.

For those that like their films a bit more extreme there is a new one out called "The Killer Inside Me".

Its not over the top gorey but it is very disturbing. It is a first person story about a small town sheriff who is also a psychopathic madman. The violence is very realistic and totally confronting. The director has recieved numerous death threats due to the ultra violence portrayed, both sexually and physically against women.

Casey Affleck is brilliant as the protagonist and his portrayal of a man transforming into a killer is startling to say the least. Pretty good cast as well, Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson, Simon Baker and Elias Kosteas all have starring roles.

Saw it at the Sydney Film Fest, thought it was a turd. Casey Affleck can't act in my opinion, he mumbles his way through every movie he's in. The story was meandering drivel.

Sorry, I thought it was terrible. At best, it was just an average action movie, didn't really offer anything you hadn't seen before.

I've just watched Memento and The Prestige. Memento is awesome, highly recommend that movie. Prestige was OK, and different, but not really exceptionally special.

I've just watched Memento and The Prestige. Memento is awesome, highly recommend that movie. Prestige was OK, and different, but not really exceptionally special.

Memento was very underrated considering it received very good reviews when released. I knew then that Christopher Nolan was a director to watch.

I like watching those movies but I already get nightmares about that type of stuff so watching these movies don't help!
