Went into town today to Park St Ticketek to pick up my ticket for Saturday's match. After that I went to George St Event Cinema and watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I wasn't sure if I would like it but it actually was pretty good.

...and also the expendables

Finally saw Robin Hood on DVD over the weekend. a decent film, but not great, Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott need to get away from the medieval films if they want another box office smash.

I thought that too. Rusty does play the medieval role well though. Cate Blanchett is just awesome. Could play anything.

I saw Piranhas 3D today. Don't know what to make if it. Is it a comedy or a horror? I think you have to watch these type of movies with an open mind ready to belive anything you see, otherwise you don't enjoy it nit-picking anything that may not be factual. Some very beautiful women in the film. A sustained piranha attack scene with some deaths that make you twitch a little. Either way, I don't think a sequel is needed.

I watched the Human Cenetipede…...I mean what a load of crap
Its an original idea, I'll give it that, but fair dinkum what a repulsive effort!
Acting is horrible, direction is horrible and the story line.....that dude who made this needs to be committed!

stop talking about it. someone on facebook put the trailer up and kept talking about it and it makes me feel sick everytime i think about it. :frowning:

where do they come up with this stuff???

WORST.MOVIE.EVER.

I haven't seen Piranha, but I believe it is supposed to be viewed much in the same vein as Snakes On A Plane.. trashy B-movie stuff that is very self aware and knows what it is trying to accomplish, you're supposed to take lightly and have bit of a laugh.

And hey, there's already a sequel to Human Centipede .

This new film Skyline looks alright:

A good cast for the Cohen brothers next flick:

I like Jeff Bridges, but watching The Dude emulate The Duke kind of made me cringe. I'll see it for the cinematography and Matt Damon's wispy moustache though.
