'Black Swan' wasn't what I expected, still a good film. Natalie Portman deserves her Oscar. Strong performance. Mila Kunis and Natalie both played great ballet dancers it should be noted too. They looked like they could do it for a living.

Mila Kunis is a total babe.
I love seeing her making a success of herself.
From the 70's show to a movie with Denzel Washington & Black Swan.
She is only going to get better, not to mention she's easily the cutest young lady in Hollywood right now.

I don't usually like musical themed movies but Burlesque was BRILLIANT - is now up there as one of my fav movies.

Sport movie… can't remember the name of it but it had Madonna in it and was about Baseball. It was quite funny.

I saw Hereafter today - I really liked it - I am a Matt Damon fan tho :slight_smile:

Battle Los Angeles was a great recruitment campaign for anyone wanting to join the US Marines. As an action spectacle it works ok, it's just a shame the plot is so thin as they could have done more with this film.

To be honest guys, Thor looks terrible…
I will check it out but I expect another failure of a movie there. (Think Daredevil, Eric Bana's Hulk & Fantastic Four, although Jess Alba is so fine)

I wouldn't write it off yet Demps. Kenneth Branagh directed Thor and he knows how to direct a good film. Good cast but it will be interesting to see how it opens up stateside in terms of box office.

I saw 'The Green Hornet' the other day. Must say I thought it was a bit of a let down. Not quite a comedy, not quite an action film. Seth Rogen I don't rate too high though.

'Paul' was quite solid. A comedy about an alien who uses the assistance of 2 British comic fans to escape a government agency. Stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jason Bateman and Seth Rogen does a voice. I like the 2 British boys who play those extrovert characters while Jason Bateman is quite under-rated in the film and I think the industry. He and Ty Burrell I really rate. Seth Rogen's voice is a good choice for the alien too. Its a little different but right for that sort of character.

I also saw 'Last Night'. A drama about a married couple and their struggles to remain faithful. Stars Sam Worthington, Kiera Knightley & Eva Mendes. The film was a little slow for me and couldn't hook me in so to speak. Keira does a pretty good job while the other 2 don't fair so well.

'The Next Three Days' starring Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks was another I have seen of late. Starts off a little slow and it builds nicely. About a man who breaks his wife out of jail and their run from the authorities. I liked it in the end. You start pumping for them which is a sign I think for a good move for me.
