I saw Battle: Los Angeles today. It wasn't bad but they could have made the ending a bit better.

I saw Limitless today. Not a bad film, certainly an interesting concept although there are a couple of plot holes which were glossed over.

thats classic smeghead…..so did you leave?

Yeah. Saw the remainder whaen it came out on video. Didn't miss much apart from the poor acting of Randy Quaid

127 Hours was solid. Apparently the film is very close to real events. Apparently the only difference in the film is that he showed the girls some climbing manoeuvre's and not that that fall into the water. It took 5 days to cut his arm off. I think I would have done it a little earlier.

The Fighter was a good film. Mark Wahlberg was solid, Melissa Leo pretty good, I thought Amy Adams was better and Christian Bale was excellent. I liked it a fair bit actually.

You should read the book Allan….its excruciating.

I'm 22 Stryker. Last time I read a book was in Year 8\. One of the Harry Potter books for school. We had a play which was a fairly major part of the HSC in Year 12 and it couldn't interest me one bit. If it was a film, it would.

You seen Slap Shot demps? One of the best sports movies ever made. Paul Newman + George Roy Hill + Ice Hockey.. how can you go wrong.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5i_D6oQO6b8 - I should probably put a NSFW label on this. Just for all the salty language and violence

Slap Shot, there's a blast from the past.

I watched Green Zone for the second time today good to see a movie with plenty of action in it.

I saw 127 hours although some might find it boring in parts I was still on the edge of my seat wanting to see how a man gets to that mindset of needing to put himself thru that for survival. I am glad I watched it but don't want to see it again… especially the arm bit eeek.

I have free tickets to see Hereafter tomorrow and also came across free tickets to see Hall Pass and I am Number Four. Looking forward to seeing all of these.

Someone mentioned favourite sorts movie I don't know if it qualifies as a sport movie but "Field of Dreams " Along with Untouchables one of Costner's best roles . Going to Iowa to see the Fields is on the bucket list for me as well as running up Rocky's stairs in Philly

Danos; Nah mate, I often see it on the lists of best sports movies of all time but I haven't checked it out. It's a bit before my time but I do enjoy a classic. Paul Newman is the man and I do enjoy ice hockey, sounds like one I'll have to check out. Cheers.

Happy tiger; Field of Dreams & Untouchables are awesome, I think Waterworld is up there too with my fav Costner flicks. He isn't one of my favorite actors or anything but those 3 are great films. I grew up on ROCKY so I too would also like to run up those stairs and then grab a world famous Philly cheese steak, haha… I think they're great things to have on a bucket list, hope you can get to it some day.

Some parts of _Hall Pass_ are really funny.

I really liked _I Am Number Four_. I can't wait for the sequel to come out - _Power of Six_. :sunglasses:

the trailer for the 'i am number four' book:

'Black Swan' wasn't what I expected, still a good film. Natalie Portman deserves her Oscar. Strong performance. Mila Kunis and Natalie both played great ballet dancers it should be noted too. They looked like they could do it for a living.

I don't usually like musical themed movies but Burlesque was BRILLIANT - is now up there as one of my fav movies.

Sport movie… can't remember the name of it but it had Madonna in it and was about Baseball. It was quite funny.

I saw Hereafter today - I really liked it - I am a Matt Damon fan tho

Tyson.

Watched it again yesterday.

Love or Hate him - The man was a machine.

YEP!
Grew up watching Tyson fights and I have this documentary too.
Great editing/filming.

A few quotes I liked from it are…
when asked about ex-wife Robin Givens who accused him of rape he says
"that wretched swine of a woman..."

and when first going to Cus D'mato's house to train he says
"I looked around and thought, I could rob these white people"
