Titanic set to sail again
The West Australian
October 4, 2010, 4:00 pm

James Cameron's blockbuster Titanic, the second-biggest earner in film history, will be released in 3-D in 2012, a year that would also see a 3-D re-release of Star Wars, The Hollywood Reporter said on Friday.

Film studios Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment plan to re-release Titanic in April 2012, 100 years after the passenger steamship plunged into the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

That could put it out in theatres around the same time as George Lucas’ Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace is due out in 3-D. The company in charge of converting Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s tragic love story into 3-D has not yet been chosen but the cost is estimated at $US10-15 million ($10.3-$15.4 million).

Plans to convert 2-D films to 3-D have come under heavy criticism in Hollywood after the 3-D release of Clash of the Titans was a major flop.

'The Killer Inside Me' was a strange movie. I'm not sure whether the ending was part of the imagination of Casey Afflecks character or was a genuine finish to the film.

Can't beat a good Martial Arts Western flick:

that looks pretty good.

Watched the latest Robin Hood flick featuring rusty today, stand by for part 2 (no need to rush rusty).

Lay off the Zombies Alien - I didn't like them either…. until I met one inparticular hehe.

I saw Piranha today, and it was doing my head in how many times something happened that was stupidly impossible and not real. Still that said I watched it to the end.

The Human Centipede (like many others) still makes me sick when I think about it. Disturbing, discusting and will make you want to puke.

I am hanging to see Inception and Salt, I LOVE movies with twists in them.

The kids watched how To Train A Dragon yesterday and I don't like kids movies really but I did enjoy this one. I hear it didn't get outstanding reviews but like I said I really enjoyed it.

Just to rub salt into the wounds on the zombie issue Alien…. Not only does this zombie eat magpies he is also a Dragons supporter lol

And yes I did watch that disturbing movie (I hate saying its name it brings back visuals lol) I didn't pay to watch it tho thankfully I watched someone elses copy.

stop talking about zombies and THAT movie. they're both gross

Hey Alien, I can give you a list of films that are WAY worse than that one.

This one is almost a comedy in comparison…..

Brooklyn's Finest which is out on DVD is a depressing action/drama with a pretty good cast which is somewhat wasted. It's not a bad film, but a stronger story and script would have helped it attract more attention.
