Mullaney to parramatta

No Brett was a great defender when considering his size. His technique was highly efficient.

Jake just does not have that. It may develop but I have my doubts it will happen next season.

He is a prime example of the failure of the NYC system. A very talented kid given unrealistic expectations based on the exposure and praise heaped upon the competition.

Jake seems to me to be a player who will not hit his straps for another few years but coming from the instant gratification of NYC he is unwilling to pay his State Cup dues.

That and the emergence of Tedesco has seen him knocked back a peg on the long term plan roster

His attacking is 10 times better than Hodgo. Look at Barba he is a weapon for the under performing Dogz. If he catches the balls on the full he'd be a much better player. Mullaney is the same, except he catches bombs.
And his try scoring ability is well known.
Good luk to him at Parra? (Is it conf.?)

He has been very shaky under the high ball this season.

Anyway I am not going to sit back and deathride the kid. I have no idea if it is confirmed or not. I just want him to perform for the remainder of the season

1: I think Hodgo used to get monstered a little when he was attacking… But he was better in D than people remember.... And his read on the game outweighed Mullaney by a Basketball court... And Some!!
2: Mullaney is a great follower of the ball... Nothing more!! Some people forget he rose to stardom at the back of the likes of the Fifita Twins, Rob Lui, Simon Dwyer etc, etc, etc... Mostly futre superstars!!
There always seems to be a bit of the black and white faithful over rating our Juniors from out that way
I think a few Forumers are getting a little too ambitious about Tedesco as well...
Either that, Or they don't go out to the games on the WE.
I have seen his last 2 games, And am absolutely clueless as to how ANYONE was calling for him to be in 1sts
a couple weeks back??? The kid has talent, But he has a long way to go in 20's yet... Before he is anywhere near ready for 1sts.

David Fifita who is now pouring beers for a living? His twin Andrew who was the reason for our soft defence up the middle in our horror run this year and Robert Lui who is the slowest halfback to play the game since Clive Churchill played on a broken leg? These are your future superstars?

Jake mullaney has signed with the parramatta eels for the 2012 season. If you don't use it you lose it.

Best of luck Jake but I think he'll be basically in the same position at Parra unless they have a run of injuries.

Yeah Parras spine is likely looking as

1\. Hayne
6\. Roberts
7\. Sandow
9\. Maitua (sp?)

Lui is not the quickest player running around but he cab be very deceptive at times and i have seen him burst through the line with pace on numerous occasions.

People will bag Lui for anything, FFS!

He is not super quick but is hardly a slouch. I think his speed is deceptive.

McGuire has been alright for them, they might keep him on for another year at hooker.

Good luck to Jake at Parra, he'll have a hard time trying to unseat their favourite sons in Burt and Hayne.

Burt is only contracted to end 2012 - perhaps they are looking at Mullaney beyond that?

Other option would be off the bench as a utility however as far as i'm aware Mullaney is a fullback only….

That would mean they are going to make Hayne a 5/8 whether he likes it or not....and with his known attitude issues that would be.... interesting.

oh well. Good Luck Jake, hope for your sake you prove me wrong.

Good luck to Jake at the Eels. Hopefully he's more of a show of getting a go there.
