My thoughts

1\. JT was wrong about not playing a specialist hooker in the team. At one point when Halatau was off, we had rankin playing dummy half in attack (lovett centre, simona wing) and wing in defence. It's a stupid game plan. There is a reason for specialist dummy half. I love Dene but he's not it. If you don't like Robbie, play Cherrington, Dene is not the answer. At so many times in the game, Dene was too slow to get to the PTB- woods, ava, sue, ET all had to spend time at hooker.

2\. Forwards are standing up. Aloiai had a really good and long game today. This is one area we've grown in for the last few years. Really proud of Sue, Ava, Woods, ET- all the forwards are low cost and good quality players.

3\. Edge defence- right and left is still pathetic. Any other team would've scored a million points on the edges today.

4\. Teddy's worst game today. Hope he's not injured or carrying some sort of a niggle. His worst is still better than the best of most but something was missing today. There was a point late in the first half when we made a break and dragons ended up with the ball. Teddy just stood there and let the dragons player (may have been de belin) just stroll past him- it should be his job as the fastest man in the team to chase him.

Teddy's worst game??? - and when Naqiama is in full flight - it's beautiful to watch -

i saw teddy in open spaces today - you can finish the rest of the sentence

1\. You don't shift half your side to play a winger at hooker, if you are going to be so stupid at least play a winger on the bench.

2\. Kyle Lovett should never be at centre again, blew a try and couldn't defend.

3\. Moses and Tedesco are the future of this club

Take out his try and Ted was quiet.

Given the pressure we under in defence, you couldn't have asked for much more.

teddy performed a bit like he did in SOO, not his usual self

Tedesco attracted a lot of the Dragon tackling and that in turn provided the holes for our players to run through.

I thought we looked a bit impatient at times, seeming to want to tey and score off every play

We started slow and finished not so well, but the guts of the game we were pretty strong either side of half time….we really shouldve won by a lot more, we did it the hard way and seemed to play most of the game down our end

Happy and relieved to get the two points but we arent pushing for the finals on that display, we may fall in ...I highly doubt it...but thats it

Tigers down Dragons in Benji's milestone game

Mitch Moses played a starring role as Wests Tigers shrugged off a week of drama around Robbie Farah's dropping to comfortably dispose of a lacklustre Dragons outfit 25-12 at ANZ Stadium. With Farah on hand to watch proceedings after a strong showing in an Intrust Super Premiership win at Leichhardt Oval yesterday, young halves Luke Brooks and Moses played with the type of dominance and freedom their coach wanted from them as the Tigers moved to within touching distance of the top eight.

The win came despite the Tigers being down to two fit players on the bench for the second half with prop Tim Grant (concussion, 24th minute) and back-rower Chris Lawrence (leg injury, 40th minute) finishing the match early.

Glad we got the 2pts but that win was far from impressive, gee if only we had a hooker, our ball security was terrible, but then again apparently its not about the result its about the performance.

oh and as robbie said in his stupid rant.

JT was all about defence defence defence when he came here, we played boring as crap footy all of last year but we are still the second worst defensive team in the comp. it's funny how he's stopped using the word "defence" all of a sudden.

**its not about the result its about the performance.**

It's a statement similar to this by JT last year that really got under my skin and my family and I refused to renew our membership as long as JT is there.

JT has no idea. Anyone sticking up for him now is either trolling or a really poor judge.

The only excuse for JT's decision on Robbie is to get rid of Robbie and spend that money elsewhere. There is no excuse for JT's dribble regarding defence that he used to go on about.

The "it's not about the result " comments are pathetic …
This isn't under 8's !

I mentioned that Teddy isn't playing well a few weeks ago and got shot down. He's obviously a marked man and he's being shut down now by every team. His form has dropped off and so has his pace, this isn't criticism it's just my observation, his worst is still better than most best but he's definitely lost something.
Just for the record I'm a Teddy fan.

Played well in patches, but did not control possession in the 2nd half and invited the dragons back into the game.

Defence again looked shaky out wide, but of concern it was both sides of the field. A lot of this (particularly the left) could be down to unfamiliar combinations due to our back up dummy half reshuffle.

he came flying on to that nofo pass and i dont think its his pace thats down. when he is in the clear he always just runs straight for the line, he should try outsmarting the fullback instead of just relying on his pace to carry him there
