Naiqama - Re-Signs till 2018..

Geez you would think we signed him for 4 years to play halfback judging by some of the responses.

He's re-signed for next year and he's generally played well all year without being a world beater. Next year if Suli and Milne are injured at the same time we'll be glad we can play someone like Kev in the centres instead of being stuck with a backrower like Chee-Kam.

Improved significantly under Cleary. Won't be top 17, and is in that space talent wise between State Cup and First Grade. Will bolster the ISC side and will be able to fill in the FG side in a pinch.

Nailed it. When Heleta and Milone have supposedly been some of our best in State Cup and Cleary still prefers to push Chee-Kam out there then you know options are low. Kev is a 100% improvement on any of our backs running around in reserve grade, and if he needs to be called upon then he'll do his job. He's literally signed for one year on presumably low money. If better options become available next year we're in a position to act, if not, then Kev's a much better back-up then anyone else we've got.

Yep, I am with you guys - you can't help but like Kev (even though there's been a few times I've thought of throttling him). He's certainly a good club man on and off the field, seems like a quality guy and great ambassador. He tries hard and is one of those guys that if you watched his Youtube highlight reel you'd think he was a genius! Glad to have him back on board.

Deserved an extension and got it. If he goes as well next season will most likely get another.

I'M glad Kevin N has been resigned. He has played much better recently, and I thought his stint at fullback was excellent and he seems like a darned nice bloke. Good work Kevin :stuck_out_tongue:

Earned his one year extension and will be a decent centre back up in 2018.

Yes appears to be a decent bloke which we need in our club.

To be a successful club you require a decent squad with depth cause in contact sports there will always be injuries.

I like Kev

We are very passionate and society has become overly self centered and critical of others.

even as depth…even as a great bloke...even as a backup to the backup FB...i really didn't want him signed for any period of time.
