No matter what happens, nobody can deny Kev has given his all for this club. I wish him well.

Absolutely.

He has given it his all and has done himself and us proud.

Remember this…?

Is that Rona laying on the grass

Very possibly. According to the records, Curtis Rona played for the Dogs with the number 2 on his back in that game, and he looks similiar to the guy on the ground.

How many SOO games did Rona play?

Although he has played RU for Australia .
He would probably play for NZ in RL after having played in the NZ Maori team in 2016 .

Ummm yes that is Curtis Rona laying on the grass behind "the great" Kev Naiqama, he who has given his all for this club, and if he does leave for the Super League I certainly hope he is on very good coin for all his wonderful service he has given to the our club, both on and off the field .. !! Good luck to you "Fro" man .. !

Can’t release him unless someone good is coming. Our depth in the backs is threadbare as shown by MCK last week

Straight off the StHelensForum:

SAINTS are looking closely at trying to recruit Wests Tigers Fijian international Kevin Naiqama for next season.

The 29-year-old would be a major signing coup for the club should they manage to pull it off.

A utility back, equally at home at centre, full back or wing - Naiqama would be another box office player to excite the crowds.

He has been at Wests Tigers since 2015 having previously played in the NRL with Newcastle Knights and Penrith.

Naiqama skippered Fiji’s successful 2017 World Cup campaign.

Ahhh… I still remember that game, feels like it was only yesterday. He has really given it his all for this club and he will be dearly missed. Best of luck for him.
