I liked Lowrie

The forgotten man when spoken about in the early days at the WT , one of my favourites Tyran Smith

His son is a bit of a gun at the doggies.

The Pies in 98 and 99 had some real bottom of the barrel players on their books that would make most of the players mentioned here look like immortals.

I was never a fan of Joel Caine. Had one good season in 2000 when he was leading point scorer, but after that he was an absolute dunce. I remember him as the original Fitzy, making so many dumb mistakes. Didn’t last long once Sheens arrived. I remember one game against Parra, he was having a bad night with the boot, missing a couple of easy shots. Finally he missed a penalty goal from right in front, and they showed Sheens who ripped his cap off and slammed it on the desk. That was Caine’s final game in the top grade.

A few others

Ahmad Bajouri
Trent Runicman
Mark O’Halloran
Ben Reynolds
Steve Trindall
Robert Miles

Jackson Lupina kaufusi.Scored two sensational tries on debut then went nowhere.

My friends and I might have supplied the only banner Jackson Kaufusi ever had. 7 foot high. "Kaufusi. He'll knock you caravan over!" Needless to say we got plenty of "who?" from the mostly Parra crowd.

He comes in for some pretty harsh criticism, but he had some talent. Just didn't seem to have it together mentally to produce it consistently at NRL level.

He was an absolute beast in lower grades. I think I saw him score 4 or 5 tries once.

Makasini Richter was better than Jackson Kaufusi..with or without a headache
