Name The Round

Does anyone know whether Round 24 has a name? In recent weeks we've had the Glory Bound Round, The Rivalry Round and the Close The Gap Round. All bloody ridiculous IMO. Maybe we at the Wests Tigers Forum could come up with an appropriate moniker for round 25\. Here's a couple of suggestions - Beware the Rampaging Tiger Round, Not Many Sleeps Till The Semis Round, The Round the Tigers Make it Six in a Row Round. Any more suggestions??

All of the lead in to the finals are named Glory Bound Rounds from memory.

I would name round 24 the "Come Together Like Buttcheeks Round" promoting tight knit fan interaction

The "Make or Break" round

The "ROFL at the Dragons" round

The "New Breed" round - gives teams out of contention chances to blood u/20 players to first grade, and for the NRL to blood new officials.

e.g - gold coast vs canberra - make it a requirement that both teams field 6 debutantes each from the under 20/s and debut a ref/touchies.

Gives valuable experience to the players on hand, and giver additional meaning for the teams out of contention.

This of course should be strictly for teams mathematically out of finals contention.

I'd go the other way. Make them field 4 players over 40\. Gold Coast could have Laurie Spina and Wally. Canberra could field Mal and Gary Coyne. Now that's something I'd tune into watch!

Well we have an answer… According to nrl.com:

**Round 24 is the NRL’s Exercise Your Mood Round**. In conjunction with the Black Dog Institute we believe everyone deserves peace of mind.
Exercise Your Mood Week is being held between September 12-18 and draws attention to the importance of exercise for maintaining good mental health.
It is distressing to think that one in five Australians suffer from a mood disorder such as depression and bipolar disorder.
