To be honest I'd find it hard to suspend Brown. He didn't actually hit anyone. Can you get suspended for dissent?

I'd hope he goes the other way to be honest. We need some nutters in our side tbh. He doesn't have form when it comes to brain snaps and without the recent crack down he'd hardly have been penalised. He didn't even throw a punch. He got clean clocked unexpectedly and got angry about it. Even when he got free and ran down the other bloke he still only threw an open palm at the head. All blown way out of proportion and if the 13 doesn't get more weeks it'll be unjust.

He went looking for action, found a bloke who could throw them, copped a few and went back for more. Reminded me of Joey years ago when he got his block knocked off in 'cattledog'.
The big-man-grandstanding at the end wasnt needed though, he was lucky his team mate Rudolph held him back. Probably saved him another smack in the chops and a few extra weeks on the sideline.

Yeah he's a fat little bugger. He's like Rose and O'Meleys love child. Recently re-signed to a three year deal too. He's a definite first grader and I'll be disappointed if his display tonight affects that at all.

Brown carried on like a halfwit, no two ways about it. As nasty as this incident was, hopefully it's something he'll learn from and become a more mature player as a result.
THE NRL's ban the biff edict was given its first serious test last night when a wild brawl erupted in the under-20s Holden Cup clash between Wests Tigers and Canberra.
In an immediate reaction to the new crackdown instigated by referees boss Daniel Anderson, two players were sent off and two players were sin-binned after the fight broke out near fulltime.
NRL boss Dave Smith was at Campbelltown Sports Stadium to witness the incident but declined The Sunday Telegraph's request to make comment on the fight.
Instead, Smith commended the referees for doing "a good job" through NRL spokesman John Brady but refrained from elaborating due to the impending judiciary hearing.
BUZZ: NRL WINS ITS FIRST TEST HANDS DOWN
Wests Tigers bench player Nathan Brown was sent off along with Raiders lock Mitchell Barnett, while Tigers young gun Kyle Lovett and Canberra bench player Tahakilu Pangai were sin-binned. The entire fight was also put on report.
The incident occurred just six days after the NRL introduced a strict crackdown following NSW captain Paul Gallen punching Nate Myles in State of Origin I.
The reaction among the sporting and wider community was hugely divided, with the majority of rugby league diehards standing by the old creed: What happens on the field, stays on the field.
Under the rule tweak implemented by referees boss Anderson, any player who throws a punch in a match is automatically sin-binned.
Tigers bench player Brown attempted to re-enter the field of play to call out members of the Raiders as Wests teammates urged him to go back across the sideline.
A number of other players from both sides were involved in the brawl, with the NRL's match review committee now given with the task of deciphering who threw punches and what charges, if any, should be laid.
The incident is a test case for the NRL.
There were more than five players involved in the Tigers-Raiders brawl last night but it erupted so quickly it was difficult for the referees, Adam Gee and Phil Henderson, and touch judges, Kasey Badger and Adam Reid, to adjudicate on exactly how many players had thrown punches.
