Bad timing for wests tigers, the knights will be out to prove a point for this game.
We could be in for a very long game, and a hammering in points +/-, I hope that i’m wrong…

FOX going through candidates for the knights job, they said 2 assistants from the roosters are in the running.
Fitzgibbon and O’Brien, no mention of the roosters other fella JT, and no real surprise there

I'd be asking if Flanagan is free to coach again.

I'm not sold on Kevie, seems a nervous coach.

A rumour on radio that he was going to take Mary's spot at the Saints commencing 2020.
Take it with a grain of salt.

You’d have to think that’s him done now.

Heard on Macquarie Sport Radio this arvo, rumour is he is taking over at St George Illawarra

The supporters won’t know whether to celebrate the back of Mary, or meltdown over Brown going back.

to be honest, I feel for him. blooded a lot of young kids and steered them through the rebuild and signed a lot of classy players that he convinced. at least deserved 8 weeks at the beginning of next season off the back of those reasons. who'd wanna be a coach eh?

If i were in charge at the Knights, my first call would be to NRL HQ to see if Shane Flanagan was able to be re-instated for next year. I'd say he is head and shoulders above any other available coach at the moment.

My Plan B would by Anthony Griffin.

The field falls away sharply after these two guys ... and i don't think Newcastle are in a position to go after an untested rookie. They have experienced players who need an experienced coach.

Depends whether they want a salary cap cheat and a drug cheat or not.

Griffin the go for mine.

@Russell I like 'Hook' and think he was treated like dog sh*t by Penrith.

He knows how to coach, and they could do alot worse than give him a call.

Flanagan might be shady, but he took the sharks from being a literal laughing stock to Premiers. That's nothing to sneeze at if your a football club re-building from 3 straight wooden spoons.

Flanagan not permitted by NRL coach in 2020.
Fitzgibbon already said not interested.
Kevvie Walters not keen on the conditions of the open ended performance based coaching contract.

Starting to get slim.
