@851 VERY easy to criticise when you've never been there yourself. I can't entirely cop blokes like Kent or Pooper putting the boot in, because they have no idea what it means to play or coach NRL. Very easy to criticise sports, a meal or a film if you've never done it yourself.

Having said that, Ivan doesn't deserve any protection either.

Well to be fair, Kent did play footy, and played 1 game in the old NSWRL. Guys like Massoud, Pooper etc I agree with.

At the end of the day, Ivan did the obligatory press conference and basically didn't want to comment on anything other than Nathans push for Origin. When asked what he liked about the performance of Mansour and RCG in Canterbury Cup he again said he wasn't going to discuss selections.

The press conference was a complete waste of time and i think Kent quite rightly ripped into them. If the front office out there can't accept any responsibility for their past actions and the pressure they brought to the club, then how can they expect the playing roster to own their part in all this. It's a complete lack of leadership.

If my memory serves me correct...I distinctly remember Mr Dreary saying - if his son warranted being relegated to the lower grades, he wouldn’t hesitate to dropped him for poor form...Also he must be delusional to think his son deserves to keep his position in the SoO side. To me this is just incompetence on behalf of Ivan as a father/coach/manager - N.Cs already way down on confidence, imagine what would happen if he had a shocker SoO...
