I can’t see it yet in Cleary. He looks to have adequate passing, kicking game with good defence but in the big games (Origin and semi-finals) I haven’t got any sense he is worth 1M+.

I said it before, I have seen many next big things that kind of plateau and just can’t go that extra gear. I do get a Mitchell Pearce feeling about him. Solid without being spectacular.

We should turn our attention to Brooks now, lock him up before November - we have poured so much into him, don’t let another team feed off our low hanging fruit.
Brooks & Reynolds looked good together. Reynolds should be right after the shoulder surgery.
