People r saying online how much of a grub team we r

And laping up ivans charades

Who cares. Don't want to be anyone's second team, I want to play finals and win comps.

We can be the grub team if it means we're winners. Penrith are supposed mega heavyweights and in the fox postgame they are using that performance as justification. They escaped. If we didn't have two forwards go down we probably beat them tbh. Hell of a game from our boys. Hell of a game.

Momirovski on our right instead of BJ would have made a difference. We need to get rid of the non thinkers and the borderliners.

cant disagree more Joey is what we have needed for a decade. I dont condone what he did but the passion and aggression mean we arent walk overs anymore.

That type of ill discipline makes our club look like thugs. That is not the image I want for our club. Time for Joey to do a long stint on the sideline until he learns to control his emotions.

The ref was terrible, we lose McIntyre to a high shoulder charge and did not even get a penalty. We lose Lucy to a high shot, granted a little unlucky, but the bottom line we lose half a bench to foul play. Also of course there were at least three crucial calls that were wrong in the second half.
He is a terrible ref and needs to be dropped

Why are the refs ALWAYS against us? I just don’t get it, when are we ever going to get a bloody break.

Disagree with some of the criticism of the ref. In some ways we bossed him around. We slowed the game down a bunch for the first 60 with players resting, some legit and some questionable. He allowed us to do it.

Paws I have to disagree, look at the history of our club. I can't remember the number of times I've come on here and people say that they just want the players to look like they care. Our mindset has made us minnows.

I'm not saying Joey's way leads to a premiership in the short term, but I think if you are going to come 9th every year then you have the wrong image as a club. Madge and even LL will be stuck into him and he should have a few weeks to reflect on that.

My thoughts are that twice he would have gone into touch if he was any other centre in our history. When you perennially come 9th you have to cop the downside to buy the change in ability.

I’d rather we have players with passion and pride that what we have had. Yes he’s out for a while but talau is there.

Called grubs or soft - which one do you want?

I strongly disagree. Stuart got rid of him because his stupidity costs in big games as it did tonight. The effort put in by our team is overshadowed by this buffoon. Our Captain failed the leadership test by not taking him off and moving Garner into the centres. I cannot forgive that poor leadership.

That's the first big game we have been competitive in since 2011, so whether you are right or wrong about BJ, I think you are wrong about the clubs trajectory if you think he is remotely the problem.

Good call, I thought Talau was outstanding tonight, this could be a blessing.

I'm proud they way they played against adversity and fought damn hard in the end..

Defence was good for the most part..just a bit disappointed we couldn't pull it off...

we've actually always had dumb emotional players since our inception: Hopoate, Senter, Packer, Gibbs, Craig Field. I don't mind Leulia but what we need to change our culture isn't more conceding of boneheaded penalties, but having players who win games.

Eh, still didn’t play 80 mins. We played tough but we played stupid

The effort was there for 70 mins
But yeah just a few dumb moments cost us .
Referee was disgusting

They played hard for 75 minutes. Big ask missing two bodies to injury. Sam was out there for what 5-10 mins tops? We're thin already through injuries. They worked hard for each other and just ran out of gas at the end.

The press will concentrate on this negative tomorrow rather than the effort by most if the team. I loved the effort but would strongly support the club terminating his contract.
