He's coming back from the UK for personal reasons. Still only 29 great defensive player. Could be a handy pick-up at the right price. Plenty of experience, origin & premiership payer. Would mind him at the club in 2015.

Hull KR's plans for the 2015 Super League season have been dealt a blow with the news that Neville Costigan will not be returning to the club next year to complete the second year of his contract. The loose forward joined the Robins from Newcastle Knights last year and appeared in all bar three of their 27 league matches. However Costigan - who captained Papua New Guinea at the 2013 World Cup, has cited "personal reasons" for his decision to remain in Australia, rather than complete the second year of his contract with Rovers.

"Costigan featured six times for Queensland in State of Origin and also won the NRL Grand Final with St. George Illawarra Dragons in 2010.

I reckon he would be a solid buy if the club got him. He would bring a lot of experience to the club as the bloke has achieved nearly everything the game has to offer.

He would also add aggression and solid defence to the our pack, which can only be good. If we could get him on a two year contract in the vicinity of $175K to $200K I reckon it would be a steal!

Hmm personal reasons? If he's a Queenslander then I doubt he'd wanna move back to nsw if his personal reasons prevent him from staging in England.

I would of thought of him as a true professional , doubt you would want to tell League fans that your ex team mates are gronk's :unamused:

I'm guessing they will be a feeder team to the Cowboys , but I'm not 100 % sure
