You're looking at it wrong, it isn't an orange box on the lower back. The jersey is orange with a white number box which gives the impression of an odd orange box on the lower back.

Then why does the white continue down to the bottom of the jersey?
Either way i think it would look better if the back was entirely white.

Look at the front, there is a white section on the outside of the side panel. The only part of the back that makes no sense is the black horizontal bar on the orange.

All the other clubs jerseys are way better for this tournament.

Real shame we wasted an opportunity to be creative, or even used the training singlet style horizontal stripes white/black/orange
