New coach.. Who should we target?

Madge seems the people’s choice, I am a little hesitant, there was a players revolt in the last season at Souths. A very hard task master, not sure if that is the style we want. One thing for sure you need a coach with a profile in order to attract players

LOL Wayne Bennett would not handle the media circus at tigers

He might be just what we need to shut the media up once and for all - everyone knows they're afraid of him. Truth is though, we'd have more hope of resurrecting Arthur Beetson than ever getting Bennett to coach us.

Bennett says he's open to coaching in Sydney

We should target the coach who can get the best out of our players.

Ivan Cleary has been getting the best out of them hasn't he, I just don't believe any of this, geez we finally get a good coach and another club tries to poach him from us :bash I'm stunned by this news

3 options

1; Ciraldo to coach with Bennett as an adviser/manager

2; Anthony Griffin

3; Fitler with Bennett as an adviser/manager. Bennett to fill in during Origin.

All paid for by P. Gould

What good has come since Sheen was axed again? Trying to think of anything good that has happened since then…. Uhm....Errrr...

Sheens only made 3 finals appearances in 10 years, 2 of those years was because of 2 good months in July and August.

He had to go he was stale when he kept thinking Fitzhenry was a 5/8 and a good player and having wingers on the bench

Not to mention his fixation with turning back row forwards into props and lawrence into a 5/8.He was well out of use by date when he was sacked

Jamal Loesli and Matt Utai as well. Lolesi was our best 5/8 option ever for Sheens

exactly that worked in 2005, **bu when 2006 came around a guy called Craig Belemy invented the wrestle,** so you needed big backs and forwards and wingers that play like props. we were screwed, after that Moltzen at fullback just put players out of position. it worked in the 90s and early 00s but not now

Only because the NRL brought in the rule surrender tackle which was code for ok Melbourne lie all over them and wrestle and control the ruck and control the game.2005 was the greatest season with open play and great tries and viewership numbers going thru the roof only for the NRL TO DO A COMPLETE 360 and for the next ten plus years allow a complete wrestle boreathon that also became very dangerous with chicken wings, crushers etc.

Sydney maybe, but not with the Tigers. He will want to coach a side with a strong roster, otherwise he will get shown up like he did at Newcastle.

My choice would be Walters, he seems like a guy footballers could communicate with. He always had a great football brain and seems to be guy who could attract a quality player to join the ranks. Can he be enticed south of the boarder is the big question
