The game continues aye. Bennett might not be lying. He personally hasn't had contact with the tigers, but his management might have. I still wouldnt rule out Madge or Toovey tho.

I’d say If the Tigers have managed to move Cleary on it would come down to Bennett or Madge. I reckon Bennett would be prefffered but who knows if he is willing to take a pay cut and be willing to work in a club that doesn’t have the money or facilities he’s used to.

Right or wrong your assumptions may have been, I just didn’t see any point in exercising the thought about Cleary moving on without having one anything concrete but 2 a suitable alternative. I’m all over now as it appears WT has found a solution and made a decision although still hear say till it’s confirmed I’ll wait patiently.
I just didn’t see any point jumping up and down demanding Cleary give us another statement without actually having any idea of the outcome.

Hey age is not all of it , I’m late 60’s and until recent retirement was holding down a high pressure shift work job and doing as well as the 20 plus year olds.They say that you are as old as the woman that you are feeling and Wayne has got himself a new younger one.

I'm still not getting excited until something comes of it. Something may happen and then everyone who buys into the story can crow about it. I can only take the bloke at his word which is that he intends to honour his contract. Until anything else happens that is what I hold him to. I still hope that he does not let us down after what he was trying to achieve here, if he does leave, his integrity (or lack thereof,) leaves with him.
