I really hope Ivan is talking to some good forwards for recruitment at season's end.
Let's be honest, his forward recruitment hasn't worked very well.
He brought in Packer and Matulino to replace Woods. They've fizzled as the season has worn on.
He re-signed E Taylor then blunted him out of position at hooker.
Eisenhuth has been decent, that's all.
Rochow was OK early season when fresh but has offered nothing recently.
Twal has been the only stand out among Ivan's forward picks .
J Taylor signed McQueen as a marquee player but he's been a big flop.
The best thing he could do is retire.
Ivan has brought back Farah and hopefully that will spark the pack up, but Farah may well retire at season's end, so we'll be left hoping Liddle steps up next year.
Hopefully new top tier signing Garner will step up, too.
Sue and Grant are off contract and need to be replaced with better impact players. Hopefully McQueen will give it away.
That would leave room for three new forwards.
Any suggestions?
