New Frontrower

With Gibbs, Moors and Skandallis out injured, what are peoples thoughts on who will be picked this week on the bench to play front row and support Payten, Galloway and Fifita? Fitzhenry is hopefully not an option

I'm assuming Schirnack and Gower would be the most likely options unless he plays someone like Heighno in the front row and goes with a backrower on the bench

Hard one, I think sheens will stick with established players and just shuffle positions although he did make reference to the success of the 20's Wests and BRET after yesterdays game so maybe he's thinking about who else is available, perhaps Moors if he is back.

Probably do something silly and rush Gibbs back.

I think we are close to having spent our second tier cap which may be an issue as well in bringing people up

Apparently Gibbs and Fulton both wanted to play yesterday, but Sheens resisted the urge to play them. I'd say both will probably be back on Friday night, which should solve the front row issue.

Ellis and McKinnon will definitely be out on Friday you'd have to think. No point risking either of them.

I'm with HT, I'd be happy to rest Ellis and McKinnon, we seem to have enough depth to cover for them for a week. It's nice to finally have some quality depth and when I say quality I didn't include Fitzy in that term.

Hopefully Gibbs is right to go. Al Schirnack would be my next choice if Gibbs needs another week.

if heighno is a front rower we might aswell forfeit.

If Andrew were injured I would be inclined to bring in David Fifita.

But if Gibbs is not back you are effectively replacing a workhorse and neither of the Fifita boys fill that mould.

Murdoch is being developed as a back-rower

Sheens would have Dywer playing in tight as in the past and use another backrow option off the bench. Perfect chance to give Moors another shot (if he is not injured) but I doubt that will happen for what ever reason
