Yeah some truth in that.
It would be nice to know why Sheens wasn’t considered for the Head of Football role. Especially as that was part of this 5 year plan.

I would guess he wasn't offered it as he had already failed in that role prior to failing as coach.

Would take Mark O'Neil back.....I mean Boyz will be Boyz and what about Warren Boland for media PR?

I don't think any women working in the club or the NRLW team would be impressed with Mark O'Neill being brought back into after the reasons he was allegedly fired for

You can't, Junior is still an ARLC Commissioner.

The club should go to market and get the best GM we can. Robbie is not qualified for the position, and is way too divisive for such a role. Let him work in sports admin for a few years at least, see how he's going. Then if he's doing well and the position is available he can be considered!
We simply cannot, under any circumstances keep being a 'jobs for the boys' club, parachuting undeserving people into roles and contracts they haven't earned.

Looking at things a different way, I wonder whether John Morris could be a candidate for GM of Football. With alignment in pathways (NRL, Cup, Flegg, SG, Matts) crucial I reckon for this role, he does bring good experience and regards in development. Obviously depends on his coaching aspirations.

Reasonable question , I guess we’ll fi d out soon enough.

Don’t worry, imo neither would be remotely interested, Junior has a very solid gig at the NRL and Benny would want, all in l(Chairman) or not at all !

Benny wants the whole club but the asking price is more than a dollar so there is no way it will happen.
