Looks good

would love the new SFS
Roosters don't have fans anyway and we don't have a opposition leagues club right next door and close to public transport

Except it is in the Eastern Suburbs

and bankwest is in Parramatta so what
Liverpool would be shared with Dogs anyway
we were at sfs once
go back there at least now it is a quality stadium and transport

We are called Wests Tigers and it would be stupid to play in the East. Liverpool is in our catchment area.

Would it be true to say you are anti-SFS as much due to your personal geography as the concept of it being "in the Eastern Suburbs"?

The SFS is truly almost in the CBD, and only a stone's throw from South Sydney. I personally don't see it as some Eastern Suburbs stronghold. I mean, Souths play at Homebush and there's nothing "South" about Olympic Park at all.

No, I would attend all games there as I have done in the past. If it was about geography for me I would choose ANZ but that is my last option. I honestly don't care what Souths do as I don't support them so to me that is an irrelevant argument.

It's relevant when you start talking about the name of the club having a direct bearing on where they should play football.

It does have a bearing, just because the Rabbits do something stupid doesn't mean I have to want out club to do the same.

I'd be more than a little interested in Tigers copying some of the STUPIDLY SUCCESSFUL things Rabbits have done in the last decade. I still yearn for the days, about 20 years worth, when Rabbits were always the laughing stock you could look at when Balmain / Wests were doing badly.

We have had one fan turncoat in the past lol

You can't deny Souths have been innovative and successful the past 10 years - the private/public ownership model with fans able to buy in, competition-leading membership numbers, strategic blend of top-tier purchases and durable juniors, ability to get the best out of previously untapped players (Cook, Cody Walker, Junior Tatola).

I know a lot of people hate Souths, but knowing my BIL for such a long time, he's a good dude and such a passionate Souths fan - basically a Tigers fan in a different jumper. They are a respectable club now, and when they weren't respectable, you could at least pity them for how bad they were.

Yeah nah.........

I'm going to suggest it to Lee and Justin, I understand they really enjoy receiving emails from punters.

Ohh great. I've got a few things I'd like to tell them. Any chance you can provide email addresses?

Only the East and west stands move in/out . The north and south and stationary .
I think they are looking at making all stands movable to accommodate circular oval games and rectangle games

Since when, they canned the upgrade and that upgrade was supposed to make it a rectangular ground?

it is not canned it is on hold cochise they are looking at rolling in all the stands, this was from events nsw and they are only looking into it at present. Thwy wouldn't be putting in a big screen etc if they were not planning something in future years. They realise the state needs an 80k stadium regardless of what Vlandys wants regarding suburban stadiums. Wait and see I guess

They were going to improve the rake on the ground, if this isn't included everything else is pointless.

Disagree… They shall not be doing that …
however Knocking down a stadium only 20 yrs old and building a brand new one was a complete waste of money

Then it is not an appropriate venue for NRL club games.

The rake on the lower bowl is much too shallow.

I prefer to be closer to the action and not in a stadium that is 3/4 empty.
