New jerseys confirmed, Harry is back!

We have a very strong supporter base covering the inner west out to Campbelltown.

The club should start to aggressively target fans of other clubs. The Roosters seem the most logical target so we need our jersey to be a fashion statement and let go of the black, orange and white dogma. Perhaps introduce some soft colours to attract the male rooster such mauve or a tanned skin colour. For the outrageous rooster, we could introduce hot pink into the jersey. In addition, maybe have berets as accessories instead of caps and release an underwear range.

The possibilities are endless.

 OK..

How about PinK with puple pokerdots PJ's…..Fashion can get stuffed....

Dogma is incorrect...I think the word is heritige....

Black Gold and white are very versitile colours.....

They need to make it a bit cheaper to stop people who earn OK but have a family to buy their gear from the club not from Best and Less. I specifically talking Kids jerseys etc..

Good business acumen would say that a brand should take a potential financial hit to hook consumers for life.

This means make a loss or reduced profit (and this is debatable with manufacturing coming from China) on Kit and ensure the Brand spreads and grows the fan base, membership game attendance … you following...

O yeah make it cool as well...

Post 1300 for me.

i completly agree that they do take a hit on the back pocket. especially kids jersies considering they will most likely grow out of them in a couple of years anyway. but as far as i understand its an NRL standard because when you look at other clubs the prices are the all about the same so maybe the clubs have no say in the price of it. not sure but it wouldnt surprise me knowing the nrl

Where am I?

Right here. Been here all along, just been hiding in the shadows!!

I sent in my designs a couple of months ago but have heard nothing from the club since.

This is tongue in cheek, surely?

Do you watch MLB, NFL, NBA etc? When they talk of player movements, they move from "franchises". Sport is business over there. They relocate a team, change colours, change names and it's not a big deal because its just a business.

The beauty of Australian sport is that it's major codes and built on tribal support. It's about area, its about hatred. We're passionate about our teams, and we have CLUBS that invest into the sport. It's much more than a business, although thats a matter of opinion these days.

Point is, the colours DEFINE us. We are orange black and white. And you suggest we change what's in our blood in order for us to "cater" to people in the Eastern suburbs, who have already shown they don't care about League?

Fair dinkem.

Not really…but I am looking forward to his reply...

something along the lines of Stadefranze

I say something along the 10 year jersey would look good

Is that the predominantly white one???

If so - I agree.

I picked this one up for my 7 year old for $75 and had it signed at the fan day in Feb/Mar…

Stade Francais is a provincial rugby side playing in France who wear pink jerseys. Here we are on a rugby league website half way around the world talking about them. Big tick to their marketing people

I'm a fan of our 10 year white jersey.

If not something similar to that then I really loved some of Creagus' designs he posted last off season. I hope our jerseys are completely different to the 2008-2010 ones. They were horrible!

Another suggested improvement for the site; a fishing line emoticon.
