2/03/2012 2:21:45 PM

On the eve of their opening round blockbuster, Wests Tigers is pleased to announce three new major partnerships for 2012.

Long time sponsors Trend Micro and Betfair have extended their sponsorship agreements whilst the Club also welcomes new sponsor Vogue Financial. Trend Micro will continue to occupy their position as the sleeve sponsor on the NRL jersey. Leading betting exchange Betfair will continue to be the Official Betting and Wagering partner of Wests Tigers.

Wests Tigers General Manager Sales and Marketing Brett Clarke said the Club was delighted to continue the strong relationships with Trend Micro and Betfair.

“Both companies have now been with the Club for a long period and we look forward to building these relationships well into the future,’’ Clarke said.

“We are committed to partnering with strong brands and in Trend Micro and Betfair we have market leaders. Our focus is on developing long and mutually beneficial relationships and we are proud to know that our sponsors continue to show faith and loyalty in our commercial program.

“Trend Micro and Betfair have identified the commercial appeal of the Wests Tigers brand. At the same time we are proud to offer our supporters the opportunity to engage in products and services that these brands offer knowing that they are the best available.”

Mr Dave Patnaik, Managing Director Trend Micro, said the company was delighted to continue their partnership with Wests Tigers.

“Trend Micro is extremely pleased and excited about extending our partnership with Wests Tigers, one of the best and most popular teams in the NRL,’’ Patnaik said.

“We have enjoyed a successful partnership for the past two seasons and are looking forward to bigger and better things for the 2012 season.”

Mr Nick Cummins, Betfair Australia Senior Marketing Manager, said Betfair has fostered a terrific partnership with the Wests Tigers over the last three years.

“We are delighted to again partner with the club as they strive to win this year's premiership,’’ Mr Cummins said.

"The Wests Tigers remain one of the NRL’s most professional and popular clubs and they continue to help us drive brand awareness and acquisition in NSW and broaden our product knowledge throughout League audiences. We look forward to working with the Wests Tigers again and supporting them on their premiership quest."

Mr Clarke said Vogue Financial is one of NSW’s leading mortgage brokers offering home loans from all the big banks and property services. Vogue is the Official Financial Services Partner of Wests Tigers.

“Vogue Financial have been involved with Wests Tigers on a smaller scale over recent years and we are thrilled to see them increase their level of involvement in 2012,'' Mr Clarke said.

"In such a competitive mortgage market it is great to know that in Vogue Financial, we have a trusted partner whose aim is to ensure our sponsors and partners can save money on their mortgage."

Mr Joe Amendolia, Director of Vogue Financial, said the company was proud to partner Wests Tigers in 2012.

“The Wests Tigers brand is one of the strongest in Australian sport and their vast reach to home owners is an ideal fit for Vogue Financial,’’ Mr Amendolia said.

“We look forward to providing Wests Tigers and sports fans in general the very best home loans on the market with the ultimate goal of saving them money. We hope this is the beginning of a great partnership.”

Great to see the Tigers continue to go from strength to strength off the field as well as on it.

Great news when some teams don't have Major sponsors and even the dragons don't have a top back of jersey yet.

Great work team. With all the revenue generated through new and continuing sponsors, why do people continually bag out the management and coach?

It would be nice if Wests Tigers could develope a partnership with the Wests Magpies Football team.

Bug your comment has nothing to do with the subject matter and should be removed. I think its great that businesses are prepared to invest their hard earnt cash with the club at a time where money is tight. Well done Vogue Financial
