To me, the simpler design, the better.

Too many angles, sharp points, stuff like stripes, claws, etc, make it all too messy and not aesthetic in any way, shape or form. That includes the mid and late 2000's strips that were WAY too busy.

Two things.

1. Design is really cool and I wish some of our players were fit enough to wear jerseys that tight.
2. No need for the Brydens Lawyers logo anymore. I didn't think I'd see a more annoying former sponsor logo than Raddison Maine (honourable mention to Herbal World), but Brydens win that dubious honor.

Balmain had bugger all black; Common colour? It was predominately yellow.
Then it gradually turned orange.
The old idiom comes to mind "He who pays the piper calls the tune." ie Wests--------------- so its a black jersey with a dash of orange to keep up the Tiger spirit?

It was never yellow. At least not since the mid '60s.

They might’ve had bugger all black but they still had black - black V and black shorts, if I recall rightly. Hence, black is still the common colour between the teams as Wests never had orange/yellow and Balmain never had white.

Very rough however the concept is that there is a blended V that respects the origins of both sides of the joint venture.
This would be our primary jersey.
with a black second jersey and a white alternative for day games.
