Only response I have to any of this is:

Chris who?

5.Not trying to shoot anyone down here, but in my personal experience alone I have been affected by drugs and what they do to people. I have had cars stolen and property out of those vehicles stolen, and also in one case property from my house stolen (rego papers told them where I lived so they decided to come back later and rip my house off while I was at work.) Illicit drugs are the scourge of society and while people are free to do as they choose, when it inversely affects people around you just as bad as yourself, then thats when the problems arise. I've never seen anyone rip off a car or a house to buy alcohol or smokes (although those 'legal' drugs can have severe ramifications when usage is out of control.)

.

Dont worry Bogan you havent shot me down. I suggest you have a think about whether it is the drugs that cause these problems or the fact that they are illegal. Food for thought.

I understand what you're saying Southern and actually side with you here. However I don't think it is because they are illegal.

The simple answer is that people DO steel and act in such ways to buy grog or smokes. People will find anyway to feed a habbit, regardless of its legality.

However, Methamphetamines, Pyscotropics and Opioids have a strong affect on peoples ability to hold a job due to their high levels of addiction and when compared to things like pot. Due to this reality, users often (not all of them) become heavy users and thus don't work, but need money to support their habbit.

With that said.. while this might not be the same for smokes, it can be easily the same for grog.

Well I was amused to read that Pee Wee Moke is suspended currently for smoking dope

Well that's just stupid. If they didn't take drugs in the first place there wouldn't be a problem.
