Newcastle last year?

For everyone blaming potter, would they be blaming the coach if it was Wayne Bennett?
Newcastle didn't look too good last year but they are slowly getting better.
How can you expect a team with a losing mentality to change just because a new coach has come in. How about the players take some responsibility for their performances. This season was gone from the first game of the year, if we are still playing the same way in 2 years you can all say I told you so in the mirror.

At least Newcastle changed their style last year. That's what I can't understand we haven't changed a thing. You mention Newcastle ill add Penrith they have nowhere near our roster but they have bought into clearys style but I'm bamboozled that mick hasn't even tried a new structure

IMO i disagree, we seem to be making much more yardage through our forwards in previous years we would struggle to cart the ball 40 - 50 meters in a set of six this year it seems playing more direct our forwards are much more effective, i have'nt seen the stats so i may be wrong, we need to remember we have a 5/8 that refuses to take the line on and who is stuck in his way's, i think next year will show how much more attacking potency we can have with halves who are willing to take the line on not just pass the ball from sideline to sideline. Personally i just think benji is unwilling to change he is still doing the same things now that he was three years ago and is totally ineffective. IMO.

Agree also lawrance, ayshford, blair and marshall must think they're already in the pre - season they seem disinterested, if they think they're on holiday fine just don't include them in the first grade squad and give them an early pre - season.
