@the third said:**Mike Colman is a QLD journalist, promoting 2 queenslanders (3 if you count Cronk) over Farah - NSW hooker, draw your own conclusions on that. His points are mostly irrelevant 1\. Farah is the incumbent and was in good form, he deserved to be selected. 2\. Jake friend had a good year, but isn't even on the bench for Qld, no big rep match experience. I do agree that DCE has taken his chances pretty well and may get Farah's place, but who can tell with Sheens in charge.**
Either way it's good for us as Farah will again bltiz it as he is very competitive and want to show how good he is. Finally, (hopefully) he will have more than a couple of decent forward to lay a platform this year. Bring on 2014 I say

Whilst he is a much greater player than eight years ago and the game has also changed, I thought we were at our best when we played a partial tag team at dummy half on our roll to becoming premiers.
Friend has come on in leaps and bounds, particularly last year with Mortimer as his tag team partner. He has probably edged ahead of Ballin as QLD back-up hooker, but it is a lot easier to shine when you are reasonably fresh.

Other than a bench forward (which hopefully isnt the case) a back up dummy half to Robbie was all I could surmise
