It seems our jerseys are always designs by a committee or junior art school grad who doesn't know the game.

At least I hope it is, because that would explain the mish-mash awfulness of the last decade.

The club continues to kill off any reminder of the Magpies. The shame is that people that matter can't accomodate both sides. Why is it so hard to have a predominantly orange & black jersey (with some white) and a predominantly black & white jersey (with some orange). It keeps both sides happy. its just an absolute joke. How hard is it. Seriously.

That Magpie heritage jersey we used this year was awesome. And I have never been a big fan of Magpies gear. Given a chance I would buy one in a heartbeat.

I'd love 2 jerseys with 1 dedicated to Magpies and the other dedicated to Balmain.

I know its tradition, I know its history But we are a 11year old club. A New entity.

I want a primary and alternate Tigers Jersey. Not a Balmain or a Wests tribute.

And I love the 2 current jerseys.

“With this in mind, our 2011 jerseys are bold and highlight the properties that we do not share with any other Club- the tiger pattern and the colour orange.”

The position has not changed since then

X-Blades have been instructed that Wests Tigers Colours for 2012 are 'Black and Tangerine' and all gear is to be based from these colours.

I call BS….I know we once had a jersey design for only two years (03 & 04) but theres no way the NRL would allow us to change after one season
I'll believe it when I see it

I contacted the boss at Kos Sports, theyre on board for next year

I just saw the boys doing there annual strongman training on 10 news, in the new training gear which contained plent of white….new singlets looked good

The Wests Tigers 2012 media polo is currently being sold on ebay. The shirt is black and orange. The only white I could see is the word 'blades' and a thin separation line of stitching across the chest. They will probably sell other designs with less black and orange and more white unless Bug's post ends up being on the money.

The orange in that training gear is much more like the traditional "Balmain" orange than what we had in 11 - looks good.

The training gear looks awesome. Its good to see they haven't crammed as many sponsors logos as they could into it. Might be time to upgrade to a new singlet, my current one from the 05 finals series is just about ready for retirement.

Not sure it's been posted here or if it's relevant. Was speaking to the footy shop here in Canberra about getting next years jersey, he said the just had a problem with one of the sponsors but it's now been sorted it should be on the racks next Thursday. Hopefully some of the "insiders" can shed some more light…

The Orange colour that X-Blades do is called Tangerine. Go to the factory and see for yourselves. In any case, those training t-shirts look GREAT with white in them. Its a shame the merchandise lacks the colour white !!
