Tigers certainly have a long-term plan, these are professional football coaches and administrators. None of us are truly privy to what the plan is.
Will the plan work? If you know for sure, put your money where your mouth is, and let the rest of us know the future so we can cash in too.
The question is, has this plan been forced upon them by lack of cash and resources and has Taylor been asked to perform a miracle?????
Definitely forced and yes Taylor's got to be Houdini.
Anyway, what kind of long-term plan involves a medium-term policy of not buying marquee talent for multiple seasons? And how long is a "long-term plan" in NRL? How did the last "long term" plan work out? and the one before that? Are we seriously supposed to buy into another one?
I'd rather marquee signings, some on-field excitement and 3 strong years than no marquee signings, putrid play and 5 strong years (which is all we can hope for with a "long-term plan").
