Gee i watched the Manly game before the tigers game we will have improve 300% to even get near them. There struture was 100 times better than ours and there defence was better than ours. Some of are players played well but as a team they looked like strangers at times.Moltzen was a flop at 1/2 back and sheens sould give young Chisholm a go, new buys looked good but Blair gave away a lot of penalties.

From what I have heard Manly were outstanding today in front of 40K kiwis…

On todays performance from us they will anihilate us. Lucky we have the same turn around as them...a lot can change in 5 days.

Manly were solid but i thought they switched off for periods of time to let the warriors back into it.

The wolfman was in cracking form but our boys always step up against Manly.

Don't forget, Blair should be well and truly fired up for this game!

The Tigers looked real slick in the trial against the Roosters but I put a lot of today's disorganisation down to the heat and humidity. At every stop in play in the second half players were going down left right and centre with cramps. At one point I counted 7 Sharks players on the ground stretching it out etc. We'll see a different side next week.

While we didn't play great today, next week I believe we should be able to cover Manly. I am still waiting for Farah to fire. Surely he still can't be carrying that injury??

I thought he had pretty solid game he had a good one on one strip. Great in defense had some hit ups where he Got a pass away. Gareth Ellis had less ball than Blair both great players I'm happy both are in the team. I'd rather play with. Blair in the team than without him. good win for the tigers. Shame about tsedco I hope John grant gets a run as fullback. He is the quickest runner in the nrl 195cm and 103kg and good in defence give him a go Tim sheens he won't let you down

Tigers generally play to the opposition teams standard. The Sharks were pretty ordinary today accept for about 20 minutes and we were just as bad. Manly are always quality and i think the boys will be up for it.

The biggest fear is the recovery as its a short turn around.

On today's effort you would not back them with stolen money against manly but as we know seven days is a long time in football or should I say five days. Manly are the bench mark, they are a very hard football team with plenty of skill we just struggled against a hard team with little skill

Yeah a 5 day turn around isn't ideal, especially after playing in that heat but the sea pigeons are in the exact same boat and I think it was pretty warm in NZ too

I think we will do well to recover in 5 days from an energy sapping hot day. That will knock us about. Manly have had 2 tough matches against Leeds and warriors which meant something to them, so they were up. Let's see how our injuries go. We will definitely be better for the run!

Yeah at this stage of the season and on yesterdays performances i'll be picking Manly.
Sorry to be negative but don't worry we will beat them at the right end of the season.
Manly by 10

Manly have their problems too. They lost Matai to a broken hand and Ben Farrar did his knee in state cup over the weekend. Manly's problem is always depth so a lot will rely on who will fill the center position for them.

They did play well - on a dry track in pleasant conditions. I think our injury concerns are to more important positions on the field (7 and 1), but they are beatable.

All my mates go for Manly so I have my fingers and toes crossed.

You can't pick on form at the start of the year. There were glimpses of brilliance from the Tiges yesterday, and I think that once they scrub the rust off and put a bit of polish on their play, we will be very hard to beat.

you have to remember Manly played in good conditions on GOOD 3 wereas we played in hot and humid conditions on HEAVY 9\. The wet doesnt help the way we look very much.

Dry track or Heavy track the way Manly played last week we will struggle to get near them. If the game is at Brookie Id be happy to get within 20 of them, up at Bluetongue it is a bit closer but we will need to improve to get near them. Their halves were outstanding and ours were awful (as a pairing), I think our forwards are better and they need to really dominate to give us any chance.
