NFL Season 2020

still mourning the Bills not good enough
I like Kansas as a team but part of me would be keen to see Brady do it to stick it up Patriots

Probably too late, but Im keen to try to get into this sport. How do you guys suggest I start?

When does the season start? What websites should I linger at to get a feel?

There is a bucket load of content on YouTube. I really got into it after picking a team (Rams), did some research on their history etc, got to know the players etc. in YouTube, I like Undisputed, The Herd, rich Eisen show, first things first, speak for yourself. You can kill a lot of time following the game. I’m still learning the game and the more you learn the more enjoyable it becomes.

Thanks mate. I might pick three teams. The team I have always sort of followed (very distantly) is the Bengals for obvious reasons. The other team I like is the Raiders because my favourite musician followed them and I had a jersey in the Oakland '80's.

Both of these teams I understand to be rubbish so I might try to pick a good team as well (I have earned that after following the TIgers all my life).

Who would be some just below the top teams to follow. Not green bay because I dont want to be a full bandwagoner,

I am a bit the same
I have Bills as I have followed them since 1988 and been through the losses
I have always had a soft spot for Browns
and probably third team 49ers as I have seen them play being in San Francisco so have some interest with them

When the season starts I highly recommend watching the matches on NFL Game Pass app. The best game day experience is “NFL red zone” where they show all the Sunday matches live, moving from one match to another depending on where the action is happening. This is particularly good if you don’t follow a team as you can see them all in action before you choose.

Remember if you go the Gamepass route, which I do, it is cheaper if you are in India.

Between following the tigers and the Atlanta falcons, it reminds me of the song lyrics, “Through my life, there’s been heartache and pain.....”

The jags have the first draft pick next year with a once in a generation quarterback Trevor Lawrence available. They’ll be sweet from here on.

My teams as well. So frustrating. Can snatch a loss from the jaws of victory like no one else.

@cochise I think it would be crazy for the bengals to take a WR with the #5 pick with their needs in the offensive line. What do you think?

I think they will go for an OL first pick to give Burrow more protection.A WR is not essential but more protection for the QB is

Yeah, I agree. Just that Mike Brown loves Wide receivers and doesn't understand football so I'm nervous.

"I don't know if I can face it again."
But we do - it's always a new week, another game - hope is everything.
By the way, champion @Harvey - great song.

Haha. If we get lucky they will pick Chase.

Lol, that about sums it up.

But it's sounding more and more likely JaMarre Chase is the pick and the best available OL in the 2nd. Should still be a day 1 starter available.

I'm not too fussed as I think they are leaving it up to Burrow and he already has elite combination with Chase.

Nah I am a Cowboys fan so equally used to the punishment in terms of team success.
25 years since our last Super Bowl win.
Hoping to see 5 QBs and a couple of WRs off the board before the Cowboys pick at 10.
Draft day is like Christmas for me, get so excited I can’t sleep the night before.

There has been a little talk to the cowboys and Bengals trading draft picks. I haven’t followed the off-season that closely yet but will start looking a bit closer this week.
