NFL Season 2021

How about Zac Taylor? Burrow unstoppable after finally being given a chance to throw and brings them all the way back to 20 all with the team moving fast. What does he do? Starts calling run plays that go nowhere. This man knows how to lose close games.

Burrow is the best thing that has happened to the Bengals and i have been following them for about 40 years. He just needs a decent team around him.I agree with your comments about Taylor he reminds me of the useless Taylor we had coaching the WT 5 years ago

Just a thank you to the football gods for Joe burrow. I've seen similar poise in qbs like Rodgers and Brady. Watching Burrow is a similar feeling to when Benji emerged: finally our team has a sublime talent.

Good win by the bengals against a team fielding players not even on the practice squad before the week. Ravens have 30 players out of their top 55 unavailable. Bengals test is this week against KC.

Lack of class will bite them you disrespect a Raven at your own peril notorious team for ending careers as are the Steelers. Throwing late against backups to get scores is bush league.

They scored zero points in dead time and played possession football by passing. I don't agree they were disrespectful. Teams have a right to play how they want to play, it's up to other teams to stop them.

Bengals were badly depleted last year and a bad side, Ravens didn't care about playing nice.

Also, I'm not claiming anything about the Bengals against the Ravens, my comment was about burrow.

happy to have won yesterday and would have been happy if we won only by 1 point.

It will be hard for Bengals to even make the playoffs with their final two games. There's been disappointments this year but I'd say whatever happens it's been a success.

I love the way the Bengals beat up the Ravens and Steelers and I'm surprised you see anything wrong with it.

That Joe Burrow.

He knows how to win, now they need to keep building around him and protect him.

Love NFL

Watch almost every game in some form and listen to heaps of poddcasts.

They know how to package a product

I have supported the Bengals for a very long time but Burrow is a very rare player and we have never had a player anywhere near as good as he is.A super bowl victory is possible in the next few years if they can fix their defence and OL.Hopefully i will still be around to see it

What a comeback win by the Bengals!

Joe is a once in a generation QB and Chase is a once in a generation WR. They both smashed records all over the field today. Joe most TDs and yards for Cinci and Chase smashed our receiving record and TD's for a rookie

Chase is now only 44 yards away from breaking the all time rookie receiving record set in 1960 by Bill Groman, with one game to go

1960 - Bill Groman - Oilers - 1,473
2021 - Ja'Marr Chase - Bengals - 1,429
2020 - Justin Jefferson - Vikings - 1,400
2003 - Anquan Boldin - Cardinals - 1,377
1998 - Randy Moss - Vikings - 1,313

Best two draft choices we've ever made

But my game ball goes to Coach Lou and the D today. Down 28-17 at half-time, they dug deep and restricted Kansas to just 3 points in the second half whilst restricting Mahomes to only 259 yards.

AFC North Champs!!! Who Dey!!! :tiger: :football: :trophy:

The defence is actually pretty good, they shutdown KC in the second half today which was amazing to see. I was against drafting Chase, boy was I wrong!!!

You weren't completely wrong, Joe is still getting hit far too much and we need to address Oline before next season. People who wanted Chase were right but people who wanted Sewell weren't wrong, just looking at a different need.

Burrow has just been that good that he has overcome the Oline issues but was limping at 2 different stages today due to getting hit too much.

Chase is just an out and out freak and his combination with Burrow is amazing.

Yep o-line is still a big problem, although we've reduced the sack average and pocket pressure from last year and Pollack's doing a much better job than Turner did

What's really improved IMO is Burrow's quick release and awareness when the pocket collapses, but even more impressive is his mid to long range game and accuracy this season

Big game next week against the Browns. If we win and the Chiefs and Titans lose we'll take the AFC based on a better division and away record. Tough ask but stranger things have happened

In the end all I care about is breaking our wild card hoodoo. I still have nightmares about Burfict's pick to win and then Jeremy Hill's fumble to lose against the Steelers in 2015

Time to write a new chapter and get it done Bengals!

Yep, I'm still scarred from the 2015 season, Dalton was also having a MVP season that year until he broke his thumb. For people who don't understand, that would be like Brooks being the best player in the NRL this year.

Good comparison but Brooks has never proven to be nearly as clutch as the red rocket + he's never taken us to a playoff game. Who knows, maybe Jackson might be our red rocket?

In all fairness and jokes aside I honestly believe that Luke's been slapped with over the top criticism and will have a revival season in 2022. We'll definitely score points once they both meld, but whether we can keep out tries and win the close games, I'm not sure.

Hopefully :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed: attacking in your face defense is Madge and Sheen's strategy this year.

I was one of the few who were happy with the Chase pick. He was elite in college with Joe, who no doubt wanted him drafted.
It a pass first league, so you need lots of weapons to keep up.
Sewell has also been very good and will be a pro bowler very soon, so we really couldn't have missed either way.
Chase is already breaking records.
Our 2nd round pick was poor. Carmen has disappointed, it's a shame we didn't take Creed Humphreys.
We need to go all in next year on best free agent O line. Our window is open now with all our stars under contract and Burrow and Chase on rookie deals.
Both will be very expensive to re-sign.
Exciting times when you have such a young core who are used to success and not burdened by the poor franchise history.
