NFL Season 2021

Also Chris Evans looks like a great alternate running back, don't know why Perine has been getting reps, he's also a better blocker than him. Sorry to say, but looks a good replacement for nice guy Gionvani Bernard. This draft and free agency is looking pretty incredible for the Bengals. Duke Tobin and Zac Taylor might actually be good.

I still miss Gio, though Evans did look good today, as did Mixon which was pleasing.

Our team could do worse than watch Peyton Manning’s summer school, a secret doco on his preparations for his final NFL season. The kind of commitment to excellence that you just can’t see within our club. You think our spine players are locked away in some University perfecting their combinations?!

Brilliant win by the Bengals this morning 41-17 against Baltimore who are the toughest team in our division and possibly one of the 2 toughest in the AFC all on Baltimores home ground.
I did not see that one coming

Just wow, Great performance from the Bengals

Draft has worked for Cincinnati mate, we need a league equivalent

I'm not a fan of the draft in Rugby League

Impressive in every way. Once again a slow start on offence, and once again unstoppable from the 2 minute warning at the end of the first half. Not sure how that works.

Full credit to Tobin, Taylor and Lou for transforming this team. I would have 100% sacked all of them a the end of last year. The last two years they've had nothing (except Burrow) and now they look dominant. Even their weak offensive line has really good spells. Just about every player they've brought in has been gold. It starts with Burrow, but the quality of this defense is unbelievable.

Wins on the road against pittsburgh and Baltimore is excellent.

I know I’m stating the obvious , but everyone here goes for the bengals for the obvious reason yea? I’m curious if anyone has a sorry to tell why they go for the team they do . I go for the browns , because they were so bad I felt sorry for them and wanted them to succeed and they reminded me of Balmain to an extent , dominant team prior to the 90s when the team left town , and they started from scratch a few years later .

Would of been a Browns fan but they got moved to Baltimore when I lived there. At the time there was an exciting young QB on the Bengals named Jeff Blake who would throw these incredible 50 yard throws, and they were the only Ohio team, so I became a Bengals fan. Worst decision of my life and didn't have anything to do with the tigers. But it's nice for consistency to support tigers.

Also, along with all the things I've gotten wrong this year, I whined about the Jamarr Chase pick a lot. Sometimes you realise how little you know about football.

I've told this before but I started following the Bengals in the late 80's and would catch scores on the show Don Lane used to host. I have owned just about every version of Madden and once it expanded to include the Bengals started playing as them. Tried to follow them through the scores in the paper during the 90s but they really sucked. The internet made it easier to track scores, and once I could download the occasional game I really got hooked. I remember following the games in live game threads on forums in the early 2000's as well. The arrival of Carson Palmer and the belief we finally had a quarterback that would win us a Superbowl was another big push, then in the 2005 playoff game against the Steelers and they did his ACL really developed my dislike for the Steelers, many dirty things have increased that over the years. I learnt about the History between the Browns and Bengals as well, the way Art Modell treated Paul Brown that led to the creation of the Bengals built a dislike for the Browns, but that is more of a dislike of the Ravens now due to how Modell stabbed Cleveland in the back to move to Baltimore.

I have watched most games since around 2005, downloading illegally at 1st, torrents made it easier to catch a game sometime during the week after it was played. I now watch on Gamepass and it is steal surreal to watch a game live on TV and be able to follow the game threads on the Bengals forum.

I was lucky enough to attend the season opener in Cleveland in 2011, Andy Dalton and AJ Green's 1st NFL game. I now have a little soft spot for the Browns, despite them being division rivals, they are much better than the Steelers and Ravens. The Hard Knocks from a few years ago helped with that, but Baker Mayfield annoys me so I am glad there is something to dislike about them.

I love this quote from Sam Wyche when Bengals fans were throwing snowballs on the field.

So did I mate, I was 100% wrong. I loved AJ Green, but he was such a Prima Donna, how nice is it to have a WR like Chase that will make things happen through effort and heart. AJ should have been a great of the game but he didn't have the heart and gave up on too many plays. Maybe Chase can get up there in my rankings of Bengals WRs with Chad.

You are not the only one.I wanted the Bengals to get their OL sorted out first to give Burrow more time.

I jumped on the Cards in mid 2005. No rhyme or reason at the time, but had too many Packers and New England fans around me and something just drew me to Arizona. The late 2000s run was a highlight, but this year they're tracking well.

Yet to be tested, but they seem to be stacking the deck in the last 18 months, so some play off time could make summer interesting this year.
