NFL

Philly really haven't done anything to fix their issues at LB or offensive tackle which is a real worry as a fan.

Jets would be my early tip, Cardinals have a few interesting rookies who will be there or thereabouts this year

time to ressurect this thing. Nfl may still be the best part of 2 weeks away and college football a week earlier. It's been a long, long off season if i may say. Who do you guys like this year?\

my tips….jets, saints, vikings, colts and cowboys will be right up there. Jets have a good look about them but only one of them and the colts can win it obviously. Vikings get favre back this season and a lot of people think dallas are building nicely which i like to hear.

The college scene has been in recess for even longer now, only another week left. All the off season seems to have been dominated by teams looking to shift conferences in the future. I think alabama are going to pretty much win it again though they got to replace a few handy defensive players. I can't see texas keeping pace unfortunately. Boise , tcu and ohio state are getting some wraps in pre season.

Gonna be a fun footy season. Can't wait for it!

yeah good post your teams sound right i think the 49ers are going to surprise.im a denver bronco fan and would love to see tim tebow get a run later in the season.i think well finish somewhere around 8 and 8.

I watched Tim Tebow in a pre-season for the Broncos a few weeks back and go polaxed because he was too slow to throw the ball. Hopefully my Steelers can stay healthy, especially Troy Polamalu. When he plays the Steelers are such a different team. Don't know about the publicity he's getting for insuring his hair for a cool $1M. Bengals and Jets to be the big movers this year.

As for college football Boise is really going to be the talk of the twon this year. With 20 of their undefeated 22 coming back next year and Kellen Moore has a year of experience under his belt, this will be a huge year for them. TCU is going to be dangerous as will Ohio and of course Bama but I think you'll find Texas and Florida will fall to pieces this year. I'll predict a Bama v Boise National Championship game this year.

Hope it the the year of the Charger,
but my early predicition would have to be Dallas.

I hope you're right about the boys! Their pre season though was pretty unflattering though their reserves did well against the Dolphin starters for 3 qtrs today. At least we've solved our kicker issues with Buehler. I suspect Dallas will start a little slow, perhaps like last season.

I'll be up at 5.30am sunday morning as Espn are showing Texas-Rice. Looking forward to it even if it will be one way traffice.

sorry chris as a denver bronco i must tell you that tebow will be fine he was going 12 for 13 today at one stage and his delivery is forever improving the guy iis a winner and will forever remain one.he will be a star.

Watching a great college game at them moment. 24th ranked Oregan State are giving 6th ranked TCU a tough time. With 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter it's 21 a piece. It's been a great game, I've been on the edge of my seat all the way through it.

[Edit] I just realised it's not live this game was on last night. I dont know the results but I'll be watching it all the way to the end.

Boise state had a huge win against Virginia Tech last Tuesday. It was nail biting stuff.

I thought they were gone. I checked in with the game a few times, bit of a roller coaster but yeah i thought VT had them at the backend. They obviously did well at the end. They might grow a leg after that.

BSU QB Kellen Moore was the difference between the two teams. When he us under pressure in the back end of the game at the start of the final drive all he did was throw first downs. His wide receivers ran out to stop the clock which was part of the game plan. He threw the touchdown pass to put them in the lead with 1 minute and 9 seconds to go. I thought VT had plenty of time to score especially with Tyrod Taylor being so dangerous all night. Instead of copying Kellen, Taylor decided to throw hail mary's which came to nothing and ultimately cost them the game. One thing that had me pumped was VT entrance onto the field. Imagine the Wests Tigers running out on the field like this…... apologies for the quality but this was the best version I could find

Can Boise State actually push now for a BCS Championship game???

two words ''bloody oath''.

Houston Texans big winners over Superbowl runners up Indianna Colts 34-24\. Steelers got out of jail against the Falcons 15-9 with a TD in overtime. That's one win with Roethlisburger, 3 more games to go till his back.

Eagles went down to the Packers by 7\. Lost Kold from QB pretty early with a concussion. A shoulder separation and two ACL injuries also in our injured list
